  1. For anyone concerned: this week I discovered that my legacy presets were gone. I don't know what happened, maybe the last update (10.7.3 on M1) broke the connection to CamelAudio folders for good. I fiddled a bit and it turns out it now all needs to go into Logic's application support folder. Drag the Factory folder from /Library/Application Support/Camel Audio/Alchemy/Samples to: /Library/Application Support/Logic/Alchemy Samples Drag the Factory and User folders (if you have made custom presets) from /Library/Application Support/Camel Audio/Alchemy/Presets to: /Library/Application Support/Logic/Plug-In Settings/Alchemy And finally drag /Library/Application Support/Camel Audio/Alchemy/Libraries to: /Library/Application Support/Logic/Plug-In Settings/Alchemy It seems there is no corresponding folder anymore in Logic for 'Libraries', but everything seems to work as it should. Perhaps it's even obsolete, I don't know.
  2. Solved this one. There was something weird going on. Once I installed a native plugin Logic started scanning the whole lot. After this most of them were recognised although some of them won't run unless Logic starts in Rosetta mode.
  3. OK! I solved this one. When searching my old Mac Pro for clues I came across the older CamelSound folders. I never realised that the presets I used were that old! So I found the topic that tells you how to get the old CamelSound presets and samples into Logic: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=149060 And voila, there they are! Answering this topic for others searching for this.
  4. Thanks guys. I searched the magazines and the website, as well as the filesilo netwerk they use to distribute the plugins. Guess I could try to write them an email. Some plugins are older, but at least they are all 64-bit, the 32-bit were all discontinued when Catalina (?) arrived.
  5. Hi all, I recently noticed that some Alchemy presets seem to have been removed. I opened an older project which uses the preset 'Amberville' and it showed missed sound files when opening. The specific tracks also just play the default patch. Does anyone know if there was some sort of overhaul of the Alchemy presets, and more importantly, is there any way to get them back? The project loads and plays fine on my older Mac on which it was created, so perhaps I can move some stuff from it to my new MacBook? Thanks!
  6. Hey fellow musicians, I received my new M1 Pro MacBook yesterday and I ran into a problem with the plugins from the British magazine Computer Music. I can't seem to install any of them, they are just not found by Logic. The components are in the right Library subfolder (next to the ones that are installing fine). There is no validation taking place and the plugins don't show up in the plugin menu, nor in the plugin manager. It doesn't matter if I start Logic in Rosetta or native mode. Has anyone had experience with these? Is this because they are completely incompatible? There are some real gems in there and this means that some of my projects can no longer be used unless I go though the painstaking job of redoing some tracks with other plugins. Thanks!
