ok thanks all, here is the thing the LPX on apple store is 10.4 I don't know where to get 10.3.3 that I can later upgrade. I hear that If I download the latest(10.4) on a mac that is running Sierra, If I then log in to app store with purchased ID I used on an older mac running El Captian, I will find the installer for an older 10.3.3( in other words the mac itself will determine which version I get after purchase? I can't upgrade to Sierra without breaking older other apps that are not supported on Sierra is my dilemma.

Hi, I will be getting a Mac Pro 5,1/ 2010, it has El Captian. I hear these macs and OS El Captain won't run the latest LXP 10.4 and its updates, is this true? Also, I was told a 2010 5,1 cant be upgraded to a higher os? I'm hoping I can upgrade the OS and later get the 10.4 logic( but it may not run on my system ( 5,1/ 2010 mac pro), so where and how do I purchase and download LXP 10.3.2 if the system forces you to download LPX 10.4( which I hear is extremely buggy)? I also have to contend with third party 32-bit plugins so I will also be using 32 Lives by SoundRadix. I also have a 2010 mac mini that currently runs Sierra, and has LPX 10.1, so if I purchase and download LPX on it, it will be the 10.4 version and won't run on the 2010 mac correct? so I need advice.

also check out other videos of interest You should be able to rewire Reason 4 with LPX unless Reason 4 is not compatible with Yosemite. But since you are asking I assume it is installed in Yosemite .

Hey all, apple has updated garageband for ios such that you now need logic pro X and the latest intel mac to export files from ios gargeband to a mac pro. Apple failed to tell users that if they updated their GB to latest version, exporting to older mac pros and Garagband ( Ilife 11 version on up) projects is no longer possible . Does any one have a workaround, short of recreating the track from scratch in Logic Pro 9.1.8?

Apple did it again! It happened to me as well. When you upgrade to latest garageband for ios , it breaks the compatibility for Logic Pro 9.1.8. Apple failed to warn users about this. I upgraded to an intel make to solve this issue the first time and now stuck again..pissed. I sometimes think the folks at apple are on drugs...great products but occasional software snafus. You know are forced to use Logic X /or latest garageband.. WHICH REQUIRES THE LATEST INTEL MACS... OLDER INTEL MACS ARE OUT., BS Apple is historically bad for supporting older macs even ones within the last four years.
