I contacted their support. They proposed to install an app to take over my computer, but I was not keen to do that. Often I get a message “Activation required” for modules in VMR I don’t have and I don’t want to buy. I suppose there’s something wrong with the communication between Logic and the iLok.

Since somewhat 4 years I’m having problems opening files when I use some third-party plugins. It sometimes takes me 40 minutes to get Logic Pro opening a file when I use for example VMR by Slate Digital... I have to force Logic to stop and try again and again. Fabfilter-stuff passes smoothly, Plugin Alliance as well. Soundtoys can give the same problem, but Slate takes the cake... I’m on Logic ProX 10.4, Sierra, all the latest versions and drivers, iLok 3. Any suggestions?

All plugins validated (150). I had to rescan the Slate and Soundtoys plugins a few times, but now it all works fine.

Anyone tried Lexicon PCM Native Reverb in El Capitan? Their site recommends waiting to update until fully tested. This can take a long time...

I use Melodyne in Logic Pro X. I created a subfolder in my Logic project to save the Melodyne files as explained in the manual. When I try to change the file management in the Melodyne File Manager all Logic Pro X projects are greyed out. My Logic Pro 9 projects are not greyed out...Can anyone advise me on this? Thanks.
