  1. When I try to change other window position on display (right now I noticed it only with float plugin windows) it create vertical to up and horizontal to left scrolling in Piano Roll. Any ideas??? Very disturbing. https://www.dropbox.com/s/av942sepg16zxpo/LogicScrollBug.mov?dl=0
  2. I don't think it gives you too much if you buy new model. Probably most viable improvenment for now it's new GPU and you get less fan noise. For me low graphic perfomance it's the biggest problem. I'm using late-2013 MBP and decide don't buy until Apple put into new models at least 32 gb RAM, otherwise it's almost pointless. You can also look at performance difference on Geekbench website, between CPU and GPU for old and new models and decide ownself is it worth for you.
  3. Probably I talk about new feature request right now. It would be wonderful If we can see waveforms on notes in Piano Roll. But right now I'm interesting is there other method instead listening again and again same place. I could be make a record from software instrument track, but it's too complicated and take much time. Maybe the best way just unpack NCW files and work with raw WAV files on audio track, but I don't know how.
  4. Well, I investigate this problem opening my project in 10.2.4, 10.3, 10.3.1 and finally understand it was Midi Environment. If it opened on background it cause stutter in main window.
  5. I compare the same project in LPX 10.2.4 and no such stutter in old version. Any ideas how to get rid from this? Maybe turn off some new functions in 10.3.2. Because I don't really like idea to back on old version of Logic, because I like new features in 10.3. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7UAP_pryN28VDl5blFDNF9QQ3M https://www.dropbox.com/s/7dkzyaqerkzio3a/LogicInterfaceBug.mov?dl=0 Also I'm noticed more GPU loading in 10.3.2 during playback like something overload graphic, but I don't see much changes in graphic between two versions.
  6. Well, I have found 2 years old discussion about this bug... viewtopic.php?t=113276 Bloody hell
  7. There's no problem if I use "Record button", only after Capture as Recording (Shift+R). Sorry I probably called this function wrong before.
  8. Normalise Region Parameters. That's what I'm needed. Thank you!
  9. I want all notes after recording to be changed according to MIDI Thru setup. Right now I get only tracks with changed setup, but all velocity processing works in realtime, it's not convenient for editing, because I don't see actual velocity, only hear it. Yeah, I'm trying to learn all possible modifications, but for now I get better results with midi fx compressor. Exponential works not exactly like a compressor, maybe I should try multiply something like 0.8 and it will be like decrease of dynamics.
  10. Still believe Logic environment the best option because in case MIDI Thru or MIDI FX you edit not actual velocities in Piano Roll, it just confuse. To the point it's a good request for new feature in future versions of Logic (make recorded midi sessions with actual processed velocities after MIDI Thru or MIDI FX). Is it possible to compress velocity using Transformer in environment?
  11. Recenly I bought Roli Seaboard RISE 49 and determine that new type of keys really needed full control of input velocity. Instead you get full disaster with playing 3-rd party Kontaktsamples. Most common problem is too many high velocity ringing noted > 110. When I playing standard keyboard my velocity range is between 40-70, but Roli has a very sensitive keys. Right now I have 2 options how to control velocity from Roli: 1. Using transformers in Logic Environment. Limit all noted over 100 and decrease overall velocity by 10. And also I block some unused midi messages like slide and release velocity if my current sample don't use it. 2. MIDI FX Velocity Processor. It's really convenient, intead one problem. It's working with output messages from midi track. It's not filter input messages. I mean you get all records with all notes as is from Roli and this is problematic to edit session like that where I don't see actual note velocity.
  12. I recording my midi tracks just using playback mode and Shift+R hotkey (Capture as Recording). But in big project I get splitted tracks with susteined notes. I'm not sure about why it's happening, but it seems Logic is not handle with input data in playback mode. It's not happening if I use Low Latency Mode, but sometimes I don't need it. Anyway it's abnormal and should be fixed. See please video below, I demonstrate this bug entirely. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7UAP_pryN28VDl5blFDNF9QQ3M/view?usp=sharing https://www.dropbox.com/s/b7gtlu2lsvfwqmg/LogicMidiReductionBug.mov?dl=0 This is one recording session, Logic create tons of tracks with separated sustained notes: http://i.imgur.com/sXfuMd2.jpg
  13. If you unmute midi track using "M" button, you get sound immideatly, for example strings. It says Logic render data already and increase CPU load. And it looks like it's been a long time, but for some reason I noticed only now, rendering muted tracks is not good if you working on laptop. I'm trying to keep every percent of my CPU time.
  14. What about GPU in new macbook's? I have MacBook Pro Late 2013 with Nvidia GeForce GT 750M onboard and global problem it's own noise during my work in Logic. It's almost impossible to work if I open on my screen a lot of plugins like analizers or any other stuff eating much GPU. It's the biggest problem for old macbook's, really, not SSD, not RAM, not CPU.
