Just in case anyone else is having this problem, try following these steps that fixed alchemy for me. Quit Logic Navigate to User/Music/Audio Music Apps/Plug-In Settings/Alchemy Delete "Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags.db" file Launch Logic. Alchemy should force refresh as it did for me

Update: I've now tried reinstalling logic, and deleting the cache folder to reboot all plugins.. Problem persists...

Something very peculiar is going on with Alchemy. All of my presets have vanished from the browser canvas. However, all 15 gb of presets are accessible through the 'Factory Default' menu. They just don't show up in the browser canvas anymore... just out of the blue! Things I've tried: ...Restarting Logic ...File - Refresh Library ...Logic Pro X - Sound Library - Reinstall... ...Reinstalling Logic ...Restarting computer ...Deleting Logic cache ...Making sure search bar is empty ...Making sure all categories have 'All' selected ...Double checking read & write permissions on Alchemy folder ...Reinstalling macOS Sierra ...Repairing disk utilities I can't think of any other solutions and I've looked everywhere online for an answer. What can I do?? This is driving me crazy. ____ Just to show you guys what I'm dealing with.

On a new MacBook. Can't figure out why I'm unable to scroll up and down the Inspector window. Huge problem if I'm using more than 5 plugins as can no longer see the channel strip! And if I keep adding plugins I can no longer access the ones at the top. How do I fix this?

Would like to know the pros and cons of the major music editors out there. Would appreciate any and all opinions Asking because I'm hearing that logic is outdated nowadays...

There is white noise playing in the background of the project. Even in an empty zone you can hear it. I've tested to see if it's my headphones but it seems like it's coming from Logic. When paused, there is no noise. It's only when I press play.. and there will be no db in the volume meter yet there is this white noise! You can even hear it when bouncing, so it's a huge problem. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm using the "Afterthought" preset in Alchemy (Appreggiated | Afterthought) and it is making a lot of crackling/popping noises. I'm not sure how to fix this, attack knob doesn't seem to help with anything.

Just wondering if there's a faster way to listen to your projects without taking the time to open them, sort of like how you can highlight a .mov and press spacebar instead of opening the video. Is there something like that for logic?

So just now, I reopened the project and the error went away. I guess it just loaded up wrong the first time, not sure if that's logic's fault because I am running the el capitan beta os.

I'm not sure when this happened since this project is older, but I'm assuming it has to do with upgrading to 10.2. Basically as you can see the automation cuts off after each full bar, it's causing everything to sound detuned since after every bar, the pitch is suppose to rise back to 0 but instead it stays at -64 for a little too long.
