  1. Just curious what people's thoughts are on the advantages (if any... or disadvantages) of the Magic Keyboard w/ Numeric Pad vs the regular Magic Keyboard when working with LPX
  2. Is it possible to open track stacks/folders in the Logic Remote app or do you have to go back to the host to open them?
  3. Good to know. If it can push two 47" 1080p screens at the same time there's a good chance it'll drive one 4k monitor. Thanks for the feedback!
  4. I'm using a 32" monitor with 1366x768 resolution and while I can see and manipulate LPX with little to no problems the large pixels are annoying. I'm considering getting a higher resolution monitor like a 4k that would be about 28". The Mac Mini is said to have a 1920x1200 resolution with an HDMI cable. Would the 4k display at 1920x1200 or would it display some other resolution? btw, I want to get a 4k in case I get a higher resolution Mac at a later date. Thanks for the help!
  5. So maybe LPX is doing me a favor by hiding the master volume slider? OK. Well, you guys are the gurus so I won't worry about it then. Thanks for the help
  6. Thanks for the reply. When you say "controller" are you referring to the control bar?
  7. Hi, I got LPX a few days ago and have been trying to slowly get acquainted with it and I noticed today that the Master Volume slider that's on the right side of the control bar is missing. Any ideas on how to get it to come out of hiding? Sorry for such a noob question Thanks! Master Volume slider missing
  8. Cool! If it's a fairly involved project with a fair number of tracks, etc, it should give me an idea if the mini will work for me. Thanks for the info!
  9. Ok. So I have this mac mini coming in a few days. Are there any high intensity demo songs or anything like that that come with LPX? That would give me an idea right off the bat as to whether this particular mac mini would be able to run a LPX project with no problems. I'd like to find that out ASAP as Apple only gives a measly 14 days to return items for a refund. Thanks for the help guys!
  10. Ok. so... I just want to be clear here. Let's say that the fusion drive issues of yore have been addressed (and from the bit of research that I've done this seems to be the case). Moving on to the dual vs. quad question. I know that it's usually preferable to have a quad, but would the dual core cpu in question be enough to run LPX plus some things like instruments, plugins, etc? Also, is there a problem with 8gb RAM?
  11. Hey all, in your opinion(s) does the Mac Mini described in subject header have enough firepower to run LPX smoothly. LPX would basically be the only thing I'd be using the Mac Mini for. Thanks for the help!
