  1. Thank makes perfect sense! Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my question so throughly!
  2. Great book so far, I'm really enjoying it! One question, Drum Machine Designer is only available for electronic styes of music, correct? Otherwise, Drum Kit Designer is used? Would you mind explaining the difference between the two?
  3. Hi guys! I'm reading version 10.1 of David's book, Chapter 4, page 176. After dividing the Intro region into two two measure regions, we select the first Intro region, go into the Drummer Editor, and drag the fills knob all the way down. I see a change in the first Intro region, but the book states the the first beat of the following region should be affected. "Notice how the crash disappears from the first beat of the following region. Even thought it is in another region, the crash is actually a part of the fill." I do not see this. Just to make sure, I refreshed the region, and selected the second Intro region to check the Fill knob position and it's unchanged. I'm wondering what I'm missing?
  4. Thank you so much for your thorough response and tips! I really appreciate it.
  5. Hey guys, I'm just starting out with Logic Pro X and am going through David's book. In chapter 1, it called for us to add the 'Fine Line Beat' Apple loop to our song, I went ahead and did this but it's showed up as 'Long Beach Electric Piano' in my instruments. I didn't think much of this as the loop sounded the same as it did when I previewed it and it shows as 'Fine Line Beat' in my tracks list. I'm now on the mixing section, and I thought I should correct this issue. I've double checked and 'Fine Line Beat' and 'Long Beach Electric Piano' are two very different sounds. I'm just confused why the name is off? Sorry for the newbie question!
