  1. Is there a way to change the position I want the loopback to start from? Instead of starting from the beginning can I start it at position 2 or 3. Is there a way to move the position around manually?
  2. I don't think it was the busses I might have turned on low latency mode. I recreated the issue and at 44 it stopped. Can someone help me out. For some reason the notes stop playing but logic pro x still gets signal and records the notes you just can't hear it. This is while recording by the way. I am attaching the logic pro x file. Stops at 44.zip
  3. I managed to fix the issue with the rotation. The real problem is that after a certain period of time the notes stop playing while recording, around 88 bars or so. I noticed the bus's are orange. Any idea? I can submit the project if you want.
  4. Hey David, This is one of the issues that I need to tackle regarding this thread. In this circumstance I am using a Midi Fighter 3D. You can rotate the midi fighter (midi controller) and it has a 360 rotation that effects the sound. The problem was that after I rotate it the midi fighter stops playing notes. When I rotate it, its almost as if I do it once then I can't do anything anymore. I can see the midi activity light come on when I press the buttons and even SEE the notes on the display bar as I press the buttons. The interesting thing is when I press the record button it resets. But if I rotate the midi fighter to use the 3D effect the same thing happens. The audio goes out will I still get the signal. In the attached file thats what I did. I started to record and played a little and when you can't hear the sound anymore is when I rotate it and played the notes and you can't hear them. You can see that where the notes are charted they are visible but there is no sound. So basically I can see the midi signal light be on, see the notes on the display, AND I can see the note documented with no sound. Other ways to reset the sound is to reselect the plugin or create a new one..... Thanks for all your help David, your a life saver... -Yosuf Test 1 DM.zip
  5. I have a 16 button midi controller. I am wanting to have more than one software instrument assigned to the midi controller. For instance one of the buttons to be assigned to one instrument and another instrument to another button. I want to simultaneously be able to play one button for one software instrument and at the same time the other button of another software instrument. This way I can have an arrangement of one controller with a feature of many sounds on one controller. Is this accomplishable? How would I do this?
  6. For some reason i cant drag them in i have to double click and it does it. Anyone else experiencing this problem?
  7. It lets you add it once and the. The second device icon you try to drag up doesnt let you. It lets you use premadr icons and delete them but not add new ones.
  8. I am having the same problem. I have built many layouts but it just starting happening to me. I cant drag an icon over the section where you put the device icon to other main sectiom where you design your layout.
  9. How do you swap out the keyboard with the midi activity control. Also how do you designate the controller to the channel strip instrument within a patch. Lets say if you wanted to use two controllers. Usually I set up the patch in edit mode but within the patch, in the channel strips, when using more than one channel strip, I want to use a midi controller for each channel strip. That way I can play more than one instrument. How do I accomplish this? Thanks for the help Eric!
  10. Is there a way to change the icon in th edit screen for the midi instrument from a keyboard to anything else. I am talking about in the shelf controls section. I have a midi controller with 4 banks of 16 keys, so 64. Is there a way to change or create a shelf controller that can be a midi controller with 64 keys OR a general midi cotroller icon that resembles a midi controller like a drum machine or something.
  11. I am trying to play a clip live and record using a loop plugin. So basically creating loop. The next step is to bring in or add a effect. The question I have is how can I gradually bring an effect with it being unnoticed. Is there a way to add an effect with it turned off as default. That way I can graduallying bring it in somehow. My goal is to play a loop record it. Add an effect and "choose a clip in the moment", not beforehand, but after the loop has been made and playing, and then add an effect while its playing, very important. Also, most importantly, make a seamless transition to tweak the effect where its smooth and not abrupt. Basically what I want to make sure is when you add in an effect while a clip is playing it is so sudden and adds the effect in such an abrupt way and changes the sound with a sudden impact. I want to keep it smooth. Again, if the above cant be done can you add an effect with it being turned off when chosen. Meaning usually as soon as you add an effect it is already on. Can you change a setting where its default off when you add it?
  12. David, How do you post a project like you mentioned. I am going to give it a try.
  13. When i change the plugin from lates say es2 to retro synth it seems like it resets and the midi notes start playing again....also if you unplug and replug the midi controller it works again...im trying to figure out why it drops out as far as the midi signals...
  14. I am getting midi activity but the notes wont play using my midi controller. This happens after continuously playing but usually around the 70th marker while recording....the midi activitiy light shows up showing connection but no notes play
