Can I control a VST in logic with iPad? I want full control, to the extent that everything I get to change with guitar rig on my computer I can do with my iPad. Im thinking that this might not even be an application really I'm looking for but a mirror display?

I need a plugin that doesn't allow anything to go above a certain volume level and thats it. no compression bullshit or anything else. I thought adaptive limiter was the way to go but recently I released that this plugin changes more then just the volume! I ran a subbass and when the adaptive limiter is on, the power of the sub is completely gone:( What plug in should I use? I'm looking to use it on master output, and bus channels

1)How can I set for velocity to always stay the same when Im using a midi instrument? 2) If im workin thru battery 4, and I want velocity even, is this goin to be found within the plug in or general logic preferences, or both?

how is that different from what I already did above? can you rephrase? I just got into bussing so maybe I dont understand its mechanics still and thus dont understand what your sayin!

There are some plug ins that don't have a general volume mix fader...many...for reverb, for example, I have had to restore to using dry and wet output automation to work with the general volume parameter for this. Currently I really want general volume control over the bitcrusher plugin. Because bitcrusher has no mix fader I decided mabye I could smack a bit crusher on a buss and then control the automation of a buss level to get to my goal. This doesnt work either. Help anyone?

Anyone know how to use the midi control in the "harmony section" of nectar 2? If i get it to work would that substitute as a vocoder? are there better ones out there?

1.)The recent version of Logic pro X is not responding to my side chain compression effect. I set up compression on vox with bus 1 input for the side chain and then have a separate drum track routed to bus 1 with vol up to 0.0 Anyone walk me through the process?what am I missing? 2) What are some other cool possibilities with side chaining. Can you sidechain eq? Reverb?any cool things you guys stumbled upon? 3) When I bus a track to a bus. is the original track still routed to master? (Or do I manually have to disconnect it from the master to have it routed just through the bus to master?)

most urgent though how should the battery folder be organized? Where should I keep my .wav samples and preset files? +When I edit a sample within battery and I want to export it into a .wav so I have it saved how do I do that?

Logic has recently been drivin me crazy. with all the VSTS , loops, and especially sampler sounds I recently got, locating my files is overwhelming and fills me with anxiety. I cant even formulate a straight question cause im confused so bare with me... 1) where do I store my sampler instruments, does it depend on the VST I use it with? 2) I hate the fact that I have 3 libraries, one in user, one in systems, etc... WHY?!! Can I have all them point to one place? 3) Any general tips on makin everythin easy to track? 4)Whats difference between rendering a cell and saving it within Battery? I've lost samples in battery and cant locate them cause I cant figure out how it all saves/organizes itself. 5) I know I have more questions I just cant even word them yet:x Thank you for your time and everything this community has done so far, ive grown tremendously being a part of this forum

I'm using the pan wheel within battery for individual tracks, and no matter where I pan, the sound doesnt change, yes, my speakers/headphones are playin stereo of this im sure. Whats weird, is that the "tune" wheel right next to the pan does work and change the samples. Any ideas?

yeah I know about the kit, i want to incluide the apple kit with a another tabla kit I downloaded online. I guess Ill just bounce the apple tabla kit by convertin the midi to audio and combining it with the other kit in battery!
