  1. It doesn't matter if I use the key command or if I control-click it to 'Catch when starting playback' - it will only blink once I start the sequencer and then turn off immediately. Can anyone confirm this? k
  2. Beautiful! That's what i did - penciled in a one measure region before drawing in the notes..and yes, it tried dragging the very last note in the region. Hope they fix it soon. k
  3. A heads up for those of you who still edits MIDI notes in the Event list: If I write in (with the pencil tool) a MIDI note in the Piano Roll with Snap on, I may not drag increase it's Position value in the Event list editor. I may however drag it forward/earlier. If I write it in with Snap off I may increase/decrease its value as I wish. Can anyone verify this? k
  4. Hi. I'm trying to write portamento for trombone-slides but i cannot find a symbol that is 'tilt-able' ?? Anyone?
  5. Angelonyc - thanks a lot. It is already transcribed to MIDI. I am very sorry for this vague post, i need to get a hold of myself, hahah. My music is rhythmically quirky so i should've been more specific saying that my main concern is the time signatures. I find a lot of patterns add up to 2/4 or 4/8 etc but i am not sure it will be readable/playable for hired musicians. I guess what i am really looking for are musicians - trombonists and percussionists in particular - familiar with more technical rock notation (prog-rock). I would call my music a cross between prog-rock, jazz, ragga/dancehall and world music, if that makes any sense...
  6. Hi guys! I am a long-time member looking for someone who can help me transcribe my music to score. Already a lot has been done in Logic's score editor but i need someone to verify my work. This forum was the only one related i knew i could turn to but if anyone has any idea where else I could find help, please let me know Best, Kevin
  7. Bump!! Same thing here. I cannot see an anchor point. I am working a lot with flex time so that might confuse Logic...
  8. We've been recording multiple (6) drum mics grouped and made sure we tick 'Editing (Selection) ' and 'Phase-Locked Audio before recording. When we play it back and select 'Rhythmic' flex mode, we get phasing between the tracks. Turning it to 'Slicing' mode seems to work but should it not be possible to use 'Rhythmic' mode on drums recordings?
  9. Thanks for pointing that out It should display correctly now.
  10. So it's not just me then. Logic's Flex has been buggy ever since Logic X came out. Other times the odd track plays the un-stretched original even though the interface shows me it's stretched. I then need to revert the project. Sometimes it works switching to another flex mode and then back again.
  11. I can't seem to recreate it at the moment. Maybe there were other underlying circumstances the other day. I have experienced it earlier, at that time when grouping 3 tracks. It's only when i tick the 'Editing (Selection)' option in the group settings.
  12. When option dragging to copy flexed regions of grouped tracks (2 or more) Logic X crashes. Often without Logic disappearing, just the spinning rainbow wheel.
