  2. I relocated through logic to my external thunderbolt drive, but the library content etc still seems to be on my internal drive too?? it didn't seem to free up any space? any help appreciated. thanks Jon

  5. thanks so much, really appreciate your help, a lotof them I'd say are samples as they are in wav format, so with them am I better off just putting them into separate folder on my desktop and use as needed? thanks again
  6. Hi, need some help please, I have a lot of wav samples I''d like to import into logic but am unsure how? as I've know idea of the bpm etc they are, some are called splice sounds, Loopmasters, Producer Loops, RAW Loops, appreciate any help at all please. Many thanks in advance
  7. Hi David , just received your book yesterday , post not the fastest here! Only thing is I've already installed the legacy etc with the additional content, which when I started reading your book said not to, is there away to uninstall legacy ? or should I just continue with your book as is? Appreciate your help, by the way book is written in a great way that even a newbie like me has hope!!! many thanks Jon

  9. hi, need some of your expert advice again, I'm after purchasing a lace 3TB thunderbolt external hard rive to solely save Logic Pro to, I can daisy chain to my other one which I partitioned , but now which I will use for my photos, I just need to know with the new hard drive do I have to do the whole Symlinking again or can I just drag the folder from the partitioned drive over to the new one ? many thanks Jon ps received Davids book today, many thanks for recommendation
  10. thanks David I'll try that, its actually in seconds it says to keep disk awake , so I guess just multiply by 60?
  11. thanks David I'll try that, the company said to lower it down ? so i guess at 0 seconds the drive would be awake all the time for Logic, thats what I would be looking for is it? I set it at 40 seconds and I'm watching the blue light on the lace and it flashes every 40 seconds?? by way your book should be hear tomorrow many thanks Jon
  12. Really don't know how to find out how long it takes for my disk to spin down, checked in disc utility but the screen shot of info for the drive is all I could find, is there a recommend time I should set? Is the default of 55 seconds wrong? appreciate any feedback jon
