Hopefully someone can help here, or at least point me in the right direction on how I can achieve what I need to do.
We have some pre-recorded synths that we use for our live shows. We also have a click track that we feed out to our drummer. On that click track, historically we would put the click on channel 3-4 and the house would be on channel 1-2.
We recently picked up a this Behringer Xenyx X1222USB which can be an audio interface as well, however Logic Pro X is only seeing channel 1-2 as an available output. I started thinking that this may be normal behavior for most mixers, and maybe I should be utilizing the monitors rather than other channels, I just have never tried this before and that is why I am asking for advice.
Am I just going to need to go a different route, or am I completely off base here thinking that I can do this with this mixer altogether?
Also, just in case it is brought up, I would use MainStage for this endeavor, but it does not play nicely will pre-written MIDI files (Meaning they start and stop when MainStage starts as opposed to when you start/stop the song) and we use the MIDI files to control the lights that we have built for each song, so Logic is a must.
