I am running Logic 10.0.7 with a 12 core 2013 Mac Pro and OS 10.8.5 . Yesterday everything was fine . Opened up today and Logic wanted to scan all audio units . Fine , it seems to want to do a full scan occasionally , only after the scanning process all the units in the Audio Units Manager were showing " couldn't be opened " . Logic X will scan them but not validate them . They are all legitimate software . I have spent the whole day reading ... I've trashed prefs , audio caches etc ,, repaired disk permissions . I even re installed Logic . All the "components" are there . Why all plugins .. at the same time ? I can force validate them to run as "incompatible " audio units but that makes me nervous . Does this tell anyone where the problem might be ?
