Yeah it's for "fake" offline mixes for youtube for example. So not behind the decks, but "Ibiza Spring Mix" for example behind the Mac 🙂

Well mixmeister doesn't work on my mac. DJ studio keeps alligning the beats wrong and I don't really use Ableton. I got the mix part down now with smart tempo project settings and "Set imported files to: On + allign bars and beats. This makes the mixing go smooth now. Just curious what to do with the volume cause all tracks are already close to 0 so if I mix, even with bass swap, the master will clip. Should I put a gain on the Master or put a gain on all tracks and drag them down like 6db and limit the master later on? Thanks!!

Hi Champs, hope you're all doing well! Just a quick question if you guys know any good video to explain how to make a dj mix in Logic? Not that much out there. Basically the biggest topics are to get the tracks in same consistent tempo, perhaps 1-2 bpm increase during the mix, get the tracks about the same volume and do I need any Glue compression or Limiting on the Master? I had a go at DJ studio, but it's just a pain cause the tracks don't line up right a lot of times. Thanks!!!

Ok! I think that fixed it without turning flex on! I selected the vocal track and chose the "Write Project Tempo to Audio File" from the Edit menu. Then I didn't turn flex on for that vocal track cause it still jumped back in the previous attempt. This time I wanted to check if the tempo was now already in the track and it was! So problem solved with your tip and without having to turn flex on for that track. Thanks!!!

Hi David, I don't see your remove tempo information in this edit menu from the picture. I chose remove original recording tempo and then turned on flex but the audio became short right away again so I probably did something wrong

Hi champs, Have small issue. Trying to speed up a finished track from 124 to 126. All tracks are working along with flex and follow except one vocal track. When I turn on flex for that track the regions jumps into shorter versions right away. When I choose polyphonic, then the file is still short. You can see it in the pictures. Flex Dragging it back into place only does this one region and I have a ton of regions in the big break so it's a pain doing one by one. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!!!

Hi @David Nahmani, 2024 now and I'm having the same issue. Would like to export my stems to a label so they can mix them down further. When I export the low bus stems( see pic) and bring them back into a fresh project for testing, no automation is included. When I export just the kick, same thing. No automation. I also have 4 automation settings on the drum bus and more on the synth bus. What's the best to export the stems with the automation included? I'm on 10.7.4 Thanks for your help!

When I opened a new project the problem was gone so I guess it must have been a real heavy project then? Thanks!!

Hi, Maybe a quick fix, but can't put my finger on it. When I open the apple loops or untagged loop browser and click on a sample, the sound is half a sec to afull sec behind the playback. I never had this problem before. Came out of the blue. Already closed and opened logic and restarted computer. Won't go away...I changed the buffer size also but no effect. In the pic are my settings. Hope somebody has a fix. Thanks!!!
