Hi All, I found this thread while searching for info on untagged loops. Does anyone know why some loops don't import with BPM info? Those are the files that won't playback as loops in the looper browser (they play as one shots. Any idea how I could add that info so they play as loops (like most files I've added)? Thanks!

Hi all, I've spent the morning comparing a few tracks in Logic Pro, and I found some pretty varied results between the eq analyzer and the multimeter. I included a couple screen shots to illustrate my point. So what gives? The eq clearly shows little to no information above 10k, while the multimeter reads highs up and 16k. I'm trying to get the most accurate read, but one of these plugins must be off. any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks for having a look!

I've been doing a lot of searching and research. It sounds like you're right, triplets. I'm wondering if this specific problem could be attributed to that mismatch.

Hi all, I've attached a screen shot showing a single 64 bit plugin causing major cpu spikes in Logic 9.1.8 (64 bit mode). The strange thing is, I've run this plugin on an older Mac with less processing power, and I never had this type of issue. I'm wondering if this seems normal, or if any one has any experience with this AU. The CPU usage seems to hover in this area even while idling (non play back). Something seems odd here... (system specs in the signature) Note: I have this incorrectly posted under the Logic 10 forum, but I'm not sure how to remove it. Apologies for the double post.

Those are great suggestions, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing that. I thought if I could do some that during playing, it would be great. I have an 909 set that sounds fantastic with RR. It's designed to emulate of of "inaccuracies" of an analog machine. Keeps thing feeling and sounding more alive and natural (in respect to sounding like a vintage drum machine". Any pointers would be great. Maybe something within EXS24 itself?

Hi all and Happy New Year, Recently, I've been on a quest for the best sounding TR-606 and 707 samples available on the net. I've done a lot of searching and a lot of comparing, and I've finally found the sets that sound the best to me. The only problem? They're basically all one shots at different velocities. I'm wondering how I could simulate a round robin effect with single samples in EXS24. I have a couple GoldBaby 808 and 909 sets that use this function, and they sound great. Any advice on plugins, techniques, or programming would be great. Thanks for having a look. Ready to make music!

Thanks, Alan. After a little experimentation, I found as long as they're located in the project, they're good to go. I had each spread across it's own track unnecessarily. I just hid that track with no output in the arrange window. Thanks!

Hi All, A quick question (after searching for a bit): Can I place all of my midi regions that serve as groove templates on the same track? I ask because I have about 20 of them, all on separate tracks, that are taxing my cpu and cluttering my Environment. Consolidating them all would help, but I don't want to lose them in the process. Thanks!

Hi David, thank you for the reply. While I was waiting for the topic to be approved, I imported the midi settings in from another template. That solved it straight away! So, now it works, but I don't know why. The investigator in me says to explore further, but for now, I'm satisfied that I could work last night. Thank you for the reply on this!

Hi all, I'm having an issue while opening a project in a new template I downloaded. I can see midi information being transmitted in the environment, with both with my controller and musical typing; however, none of the software instruments are sounding. It's almost like something's been disabled. Notes placed in the piano roll sound, but the meters down't move via midi info. The knobs parameter controlling knobs don't work either, but I found it especially strange that the musical typing didn't work either. Any thoughts?
