Yes. I know it’s not a universal problem with the plugins themselves. On my MacBook Pro I can have the GUIs open without it slowing logic. Are there any graphics related preferences I can change? Or could it be a hardware issue?

I'm running Logic 10.5.1 on a 2017 imac pro. There are a number of 3rd Party plugins (Sketch Cassette, Smooth Operator, and many more) that slow Logic to a crawl when the GUI is open. Close the window and logic returns to normal. Are there any settings I can adjust to prevent this from happening?
