  1. I fixed it by re-scanning the Control Surfaces and adding the S61 again which fixed it. Must have gotten booted with the update.
  2. Hello all, I have had this problem in the past and it's reappeared and I'm not sure what it going on. I have two controllers - an Arturia MiniLab MKII and a Komplete Kontrol S61. For some reason the KK has stopped receiving note information when I play. Doesn't matter if it's with a native Logic instrument or using any other software instrument. The control bar status says "No Input". I have the channels set to All and it was working the other day so something with 10.7.3 must have reset the controllers. Strangely it is taking DAW commands so if I hit play on the keyboard it works just fine. So it's just notes. The keyboard is working fine in other apps so it's not a connection. When I look at the MIDI devices it's there alongside the other devices. It's probably in the incredibly confusing control surfaces settings or something. Any idea what is messed up? Thanks!
  3. Hi all, I am trying to accomplish something and am wondering the best way to do this. I have a vocal track and would like to follow the melody line with a MIDI track. Converting Flex to MIDI doesn't work as the resulting track is just too messy. What would work is placing the playhead over the note in flex, hit the corresponding note on my keyboard. But because of selection focus - if I have the audio track selected I can't add MIDI - I can't make this work. Is there a way? Is there a way to copy selected Flex "note" and paste as MIDI data? I seems I can only convert the entire track to MIDI? I know I could manually transcribe the data but I am just wondering if there is an easier way to do it. Thanks in advance and if I can clarify anything let me know!
  4. Hello all, just updated to a new computer (16" M1) and new installation of Logic. I'm having an odd problem and I'm sure it's just a setting somewhere. I have an older Akai LPD8 MIDI controller and it is only working for some software instruments. Arturia stuff it works fine, no issues. But native Logic instruments and Native Instruments stuff no input. With the NI stuff I can go deep into settings and change the MIDI input from Port A to Omni and then everything works but it's a hassle to always have to do that. With Logic instruments I can't find a place to change it. It's already set to MIDI In port All in the track settings. Any ideas what I have set up wrong? Thanks!
  5. Hi All, just upgraded to 10.2 from 10.0.2. I'm running 10.9.5 whatever flavor of OSX that is. 10.0.2 worked great but I can't get 10.2 to launch. It crashes at Indexing Loops. Here's the deal, I have installed it fine if I set up a new account on the same computer, so something somewhere is messing up. Here's what I've deleted with no luck. Logic prefs in ~/Library/Preferences everything in the various Music and Audio directories. Moved my loops etc. I am using symlinks to point to an external directory so potentially that is causing the issue though I did move them back to the folder. Maybe also need to delete symbolic links somewhere? Not running anything too complex but would like to keep things working on this account as I have all of my NI instruments configured etc. Thanks!
