  1. Hey everyone, In Delay Designer, I’m wanting to use the line tool to set params such as tap volume, cuts-off etc. In some previous versions of Logic this was no problem, I used it many times. I don’t remember the key combination but now I can’t get it to work at all. I’m also looking in the user manual but not finding it there either. Does anyone here use that feature? and know how to access it? thanks!
  2. Not yet, i was planning on doing that on YouTube but i'll try Google too. thanks for the response, just now getting back to it!
  3. Anyone know of any really good drum layering tutorials? i searched this forum but nothing came up. I'm needing to layer both acoustic drums and also electronic too, in all combinations
  4. thanks for the response guys. i think i probably posted in the wrong forum, but no matter. those are good enough answers for now. i like Logic's Drummer Track a lot, with the mixing options for room mics, overhead mics etc.
  5. I'm needing some well,...slamming acoustic drums for a track i'm working on and recently watched a Drum Library shootout comparison. This video featured Groove Agent, Hertz Drums, Superior Drummer, Steven Slay Drums (SSD5), Addictive Drums and more. Then I was watching another video about 'must-know' Logic plugins and the guy said Logic acoustic drums are no good, which I totally disagree with. But it got me curious about what other's opinions might be of Logics Drummer Track versus other drum libraries. I'd like to hear from you guys on this topic.
  6. Hey David, a very belated thank you for answering my post. helpful indeed! btw - i determined the 'quantize to audio problem' is due to the song file itself. I believe it was orginally a Logic 8 file from long ago. I repeated the procedure on a brand new song file and everything worked fine. thanks again to Atlas007, no i haven't heard of groove track. i will def check that out
  7. Hey just now seeing this, thanks David for the additional info!
  8. Is it possible to see what the click values are, of the transients of an (audio) percussion loop? I’m asking because i’ve created a quantize grid based on a 2 bar audio percussion loop and it’s not working. the midi percussion tracks' timing are clearly not lining up. I’ve been wondering about this for some time now I hope i’m stating this clearly! by click values i mean the smallest timing increments found in the event list window. there are 240 of them per 16th note, which is the default i believe. thanks in advance btw - the audio file itself may be a problem. it’s an old Zero Gravity audio loop and the format is not a straight up AIFF or WAV file. that may be causing the problem
  9. That did it, thanks! guys for answering my post The LCD column was grayed out and i didn't know why,
  10. Sorry to be asking this question again! the grid change value use to be located right below the time sig. Now, for the life of me i cannot find where to change it. I'd like to toggle between 16th, 32nd and 32nd triplets. Can someone clue me in?!?! thanks in advance
  11. omg, its that simple. geeeze, thank you jakobP
  12. Hey everyone, i'm experiencing some problems in using Drum Machine Designer. When loading an instance of, it defaults to Libary/Electronic Drums but when i click on a kit name, like for example Chrome, it will sometimes load the kit entirely ( the desired outcome! ) whereas other times, it won't load anything but will instead navigate down to individual sounds, this is a problem obviously, anyone else experiencing this? or know of a fix?!?, thanks in advace
  13. There is something horribly wrong with my old Nord Lead synth. It’s spitting out some crazy controller data and interfering with recoding and playback of the midi tracks. I know a bit about the Environment. So far I have the physical input connected to a monitor and can see the data. From there it’s cabled to Sequencer input. What object what i use to mute the data? For example ( i think) it’s spitting out cc 41, 72, 43. Would i add a transformer object? If so, not sure how to set it up. Not sure what to choose instead of 'Thru' ?
