Hello, What is the amount of the limit cursor you have chosen for the plug-in latency "Low latency mode"?

It is an old post, but just in case an answer is still needed, since 10.5 there is a new option concerning apple loops, and I guess by the same way all the loops imported in Logic it is the Auto Leveling feature of the Play options of the Apple Loops Pane. It is this one which intorduce the automatic gain adjustment in the region parameter box :

Indeed I have the same issue with the external instrument plugin in MainStage, but I think that due to the equivalent behaviour of the Midi external track there is, in a way, no necessary needs to use the plug in.

With Mainstage you have to create a Midi External track and you will have the same kind of settings than with the Logic External Midi instrument

The David Dvorin book is a bit disappointing. It is a "lazy" update of his logic Pro 9 advanced book. And there is a lot of repetition in regard of David's book, in a such a way that there is a lack of complementarity between these two.

I think you can also use the Alchemy's Keyswitches which enable to select the Pad. This involves to affect the corresponding notes to the pads of your controller.

Hi everybody, Is there a way to have the video following the nudging by frame function. When you want to place a region précisely with the nudging by frame key command it will be good to have the video synchronizing accodingly. Similar question : Is it possible to keep the playhead at the begining of a region, so that, when you nudge the region by frame, you will have the video moving along ? Thanks for the feedback.

Hi, I have a macbookpro mid 2009, intel core 2 duo, 2.53 GHz. 8 GB, but I run Mainstage in 32 bits due to the overprocessing induced by the audio bridge. I have a Motu ultra lite MK3 to which we connect 2 guitars, one bass, one cavaquihno (brazilian samba guitar), the lead vocal mic, and for certain songs we use up to 6/7 playbacks. We play west african electro music, so a lot of mixing between acoustic and electro sounds. When the sono enables it, we use all the outupt of the MK3 to send the tracks to the sono guy. We don't have midi keyboard, only a FCB1010 foot controller connected to the midi in of the MK3. So far, no CPU or Ram pb. We are at 40%. But it is also clear that u have to know how to optimize the use of the plugins and to settle your concert project.

Hi Mattias, What is the status of your Playback "Snap to" button. For it to start as you press the play button, it should set to "Off". For the playback to play when you release your footswitch, you have to select "invert paramter range" in the map paramter area for your footswitch mapping

If you want to import the tempo information, you have to be sure that in the import window you have validated the global options. And I guess that if you want to import two projects, one after the other, you have to shift before the regions within the second project beyond the end of the first project to be imported after.
