I've been delving into spacial audio/ambisonics recently and have noticed that there is almost a universal lack of support for Logic. Take a look at the links below, no support fo Audio Units. After some research this lack of support 'appears' to be a technical limitation that Logic does not support a high enough channel count per track for spacial audio. This seems very strange to me as Apple has been pushing their hardware products (iMac Pro) as the ideal machines for VR content creation, whilst not supporting VR Audio in any meaningful way within their own Pro Audio offering. Ambisonic/spacial audio will be a key component of production workflows and Logic's lack of support will mean many will go elsewhere. Which would be a big shame.
