Hello David I managed to fix by deleting (com.apple.logic.pro.cs file and the plist file I think the template had become corrupt so great to fix

I have some track stacks and sum bus sends and also bus outputs the template has worked fine for a long time but I’ve made changes and always save on the template .The mixer i can select a track use the faderport but will be on a completely different track on the main window

Hello I have a faderport and I’m using the fader to adjust the volume of logics tracks .But I’m finding the fader will be assigned to a completely different track inside logic not the one you have highlighted .This is happening in a template I have made .I have tried in a new project and the faderport works fine so I’m guessing there is a funny setting I’ve turned on in the template any help be great thank you

Hello i been using the exs24 to chop samples in side the sample editor .The way i do it is drag a audio file in to the exs24 then make sure it is set on one key of the keyboard then i hit the key so the sample triggers i adjust the sample to the right size with the blue markers. Then when finished i copy and paste the sample on to the next key and move along the audio file. This has worked well in the past but when i audition the other notes playing on the midi keyboard it has been copying the same sample to all the keys on the keyboard so will mess up all the work i have done whats really annoying

yeah i think i have a few plug ins what have been helping logic to crash is there any way to check which ones are crashing logic etc ? also i think in general sierra is a lot slower

Hello is it just me but does sierra seem to make logic crash lots. I have had logic crash or quit lots in different projects when using third party plug ins and some times even logic plug ins will open and there be a black square but cant see the interface is really strange behavior and Im thinking of going down to el capitan to fix it what u guys think ? ?

Hello say i have a bass and i like to SC on a bus and also like to compress it together on another bus with the kick to glue it together how would you go about this .

but dont click no input keep the bus input so you can send other tracks to it otherwise Ive found its makes another bus

Hello thanks for the reply I found a you tube video and been doing this 1. New Instrument - Midi Controlled Effect - VolumeShaper - Draw midi to match kick length 2. Create new instrument - Stereo Out - Choose Bus - Click "No Input" and "No Output" in the Stereo Out strip on right 3. Open VolumeShaper - Choose the Bus under Sidechain tab 4. Create "Ducking" curve - Choose "Beat 1-Shot" 5. Use multi-band knob to cut down to the low frequencies The End

Hello I use volume shaper a side chain plug in on a bus as a send return in logic to side chain and i send the instruments i like to side chain to this bus is this the best way to do it and should i have the stereo out turn off or on

Hello Im trying to work out if you can assign the same fader twice since i only have the faderport and would like to write in more then one style of automation on a single track say i write in the cut off for a synth automation it records fine but when i re assign the fader to volume to write in the track volume automation i will not write both automations is there a way to lock or turn of the automation once you written it in so that i can re assign the fader to a new control ? cheers

Hello Ive set up my faderport in logic and it works great and Ive read that you can assign the fader to control 1 in the smart controls Ive managed to do this and can write in automation say for a synth cut off whats really good but when you go back to write in the automation volume for the same synth it won't write I'm guessing you can only do one style of automation with the fader port
