  1. Thanks for the reply, I'm on Logic 10.4.1, but I just found out that my problem was somehow associated with "File Tempo". For anyone else experiencing this issue: I solved this reanalyzing my sample tempo in the Editor "File Tempo" section, and then selecting "Adapt Region Tempo to Project Tempo and Align Downbeat" under the "Actions" menu.
  2. Hello everyone! I'm working on a new project, and I have two sections going on with two different BPM (the first is 128BPM and the second 140BPM). Between these two sections there's 8 bars where I gradually increase tempo automating Global Tracks Tempo. MIDI regions follow exactly the gradual tempo change, while my audio regions (such as risers and snares) remain always at the original speed (in fact I can't see the region contracting while the track plays). I tried messing around with almost everything but I can't figure out how to obtain the wanted result. Thanks in advance
  3. Hi there! I'm trying to figure out how to "reset" Space Designer every time a new chord hits, to avoid an overlapping reverb effect, that creates blur and confusion. I'll try to explain it better. I have a synth that's playing a chords progression written down in piano roll, and I'm Using Space Designer in the channel strip as reverb to add some space and depth. Now, the only problem is: since I'm working in 128 bpm, and the chord progression becomes pretty "fast", the reverb of the previous note always overlap to the next note reverb, creating that blur and confusion that I'm trying to get rid of. I tried reducing decay time, but the reverb obviously becomes completely different, reducing too much all the space and depth that I obtained before. I've also tried a gate, but when the gate kicks in, Space Desinger won't lose it's "memory", and when the gate goes off, the previous note reverb tail it's still here. The only option seems to be switching off and then on Space designer (using "insert bypass" automation) every time a new chord hits. But the problem here is that this automation fails when switched on and off fast, resulting in leaving the plugin always on. I really can't figure out how to solve this... Thanks in advance for any reply.
  4. Thanks for your reply. I tried the method you suggested, but unforntunately it didn't work. I also tried following all the steps from the Get help with Logic Pro X from apple (https://support.apple.com/it-it/HT200260). How can I proceed?
  5. Almost same issue here, since updating to 10.3.0 Logic GUI lags a lot during the first 5-6 seconds after starting playback, but I don't experience the system overload message
  6. Hello, I just updated Logic X to 10.3.0 version, and I immediately noticed a very annoing problem: when I hit the play button to start the playback, the whole user interface starts to lag for about two second before running smoothly; however the system doesn't seems to be overloaded in these seconds, as the CPU and Disk meter suggest. It would seem to be a behavior due to a conflict of some kind; infact sometimes, when I hit the playback button, Logic runs instantly smooth, acting in a completely random way... For example, if a certain track is selected in the mixer, then Logic will run smoothly; if another track (like the track on which I'm working) is selected then it'll start to lag. But this could happen even on a new project with only 3-4 tracks without any effect... Considering my MacBook Pro performance capability, I can't understand the origin of this behaviour. Thanks in advance
  7. Hello, I was mastering a track, trying to reach the "commercial-standard" loudness for Progressive/Electro House songs. This track has a particulary strong and powerful kick that fits the mix perfectly. To reach that desidered level of loudness I obviously have to apply a quite hard compression to the track, but that flattens the kick. Otherways the limiter would be suppressing to much signal, making the whole sound squashing. How can I deal with this problem? How can I reduce the difference between Peak and RMS in order to incrase the volume without losing the punchy powerful kick? Thanks in Advance
  8. Thanks for your quick reply Do you know how can I get this kind of sound in Logic X? Or some good sample libraries with some of these percussions?
  9. Hello, I was listening to Sander Van Doorn & Gregor Salto - Tribal ( ), and I was wondering what kind of percussion is used in the first 8 bars of the first drop and how to obtain it (actually sounds like a snare but probably isn't). Should I just find the right sample and process it or is there a way to obatin this sound using Logic native plugins or other synths like Sylenth1? Thanks in advance
