One thing to consider is the size and vitality of the community. I switched from Digital Performer long ago in part because there weren't enough resources for me to get help and learn and become more proficient in the DAW compared to Logic. Live was not so popular when I made the switch but it has improved a lot in this regard and is now on par with Logic if not better depending on your genre. These days, most things I need to figure out is either on YouTube or here in this forum already. That's pretty valuable to me.
A second point is your use case. Live and FL haven't yet added the depth of features you'll need if you're looking to compose to picture. Logic, Digital Performer, and other older DAWs like Cubase are going to lead the way there.
