  1. Absolutely superb - This is an immediate must have today - Like - Right now - This moment
  2. You diamond - I'm gonna have a look at that today - Yeah - All in the mixer window - The pre listen channel - It all makes sense now
  3. Send them to a bus on solo ? Will that not do it I know you can do it with this Plugin: https://www.meldaproduction.com/MCompare That is not really an answer though is it because you should be able to do it within Logic alone
  4. Wow ! thats amazing It works a bit like a destructive strip silence function - Something I've longed for This means my projects can and will reduce dramatically in size. Ok now it's time to try that out [on a backed up project of course]
  5. In the browser window you can choose the: optimise audio function What does that actually do ? Don't say: It optimises the audio
  6. I do like the GUI's I thought the Match EQ was still there in Logic X - Pretty sure I used it a few weeks ago v10.2 Template ? as in: save as template ? Same way as usual I think ? -=-
  7. Logic's own compressor is better than the SSL ! That is what I think anyway - Is it a 64bit 32bit issue ?
  8. Yeah the clip distortion is a very nice choice too
  9. I did have an AMT8 back when Logic X was Logic Platinum v2.2 wow - brings back the memories
  10. Try the distortion 2 plugin with a gentle setting, that will warm things up a little. Also try the auto filter plugin, that has some inbuilt saturation settings you can play around with. I'd recommend you to also try Logic's compressor, it has some clipping functionality that you can employ, you can also switch on the inbuilt limiter section, bring down the threshold to gently clip the signal, that will get a warm sound going on
  11. I audition a lot of samples and loops via the browser in real time when working on a project Having the ability to route that audio to a dedicated channel strip would allow me to apply any number of plugins in advance of actually having to import the audio into Logic's arrange page. So as I auditioned the samples and loops in real time I could make: EQ adjustments or maybe: add a delay effect or route a drum loop to a drum bus etc.
  12. I do not understand why Apple have not created a dedicated Logic X mouse/track ball with all the imagined functionality
  13. At time's I need to cut regions up into multiple parts with the scissors tool - A function that allowed that slicing to take place and at the same time applying a user definable fade to the intersected regions would save me a lot of pain
