  1. Works only with a standard mouse. Not with my wacom. The moment I hover over a digit the cursor changes into that up/down cursor and single or double clicking on digits don’t work. Only option is to first right click with my Wacom pen and then single click on a digit.
  2. Yes, it's probably my input device then (I use a Wacom tablet). Both scrolling and using double clicking with it then don't work optimally. Scrolling goes too fast and double clicking doesn't give that field focus for me to type something in it. I never use a regular mouse so I'll have to do with first right clicking that field to give it focus and then clicking the desired column to change.
  3. That could indeed be it. I'm using a Wacom. I tried it with the standard Magic Mouse and then double clicking works better to select the desired column. Although still not quite ideally. Best option is then to first right click that segment to give it focus and select the entire row. Then clicking the desired column (which after given focus to that field will now work) in order to change its value.
  4. I wish to quantise note lengths so I went to Functions, Midi Transform and Quantise Note Length. I wished to set to to 1/16th. At the bottom right there are 4 columns in which I wish to edit the values to 0, 0, 1, 0. But when I try to select the 3rd column to enter '1', instead I get a cursor with an up and down arrow. Which serves as a scroller to increase and decrease the value. Which is very hard to get to the number you wish as a slight movement makes it go from 0 to 20 for example. I know I can edit the value directly by typing, but I can't seem to select the number in column 3. The only thing that helped is to first select that entire row with the right mouse button to give it focus. Then I can click that 3rd column and change the value to 1 by typing it. Is it really supposed to be that hard to just type in a value or should I do it some other way? Clicking or double-clicking doesn't work anyway. And as soon as I move the cursor to a number that cursor changes into that up and down arrow to scroll through the numbers. There isn't an option to disable that cursor changing as far as I can see? How do you edit that number? Same way as I am doing now? Or some easier way that I can't find in the documentation?
  5. Figured it out myself. Though I installed my iMac as English, I had my keyboard input source set as Dutch. I added a second keyboard input source US, selected that one and now when I reset the key shortcuts the preset US is used. It apparently chose to use use the German preset as that was closest to my Dutch keyboard input source.
  6. I've got my iMac installed as in English. Living in The Netherlands, but I prefer my interface language to be English. I've noticed that when I go to Key Commands > Presets, that the German preset is being used. So I switched that to US. I wished to revert the key commands to default zo I used Initialize all Key Commands. I then noticed that the preset went back to German. Why is that? Logic Pro uses English as its language, my iMac is installed and set to English... Why is Logic Pro then switching to German as the preset language for key commands? Why doesn't it go back to using the U.S. preset as my iMac is set to English?
  7. This is probably quite normal, but just noticed it after the update. When I start a new audio document, the channel mode of the audio track is mono by default. And when I drag a loop or audio file to that track it shows a popup saying 'You have added a stereo audio region on a mono track. You can proceed using a mono sum of the sterio region, let Logic create a new sterio audio track with the region, or convert the mono track to stereo'. Perhaps that I clicked 'Don't show again' in the past and that now after the update that popup reappeared? But anyway: I was curious if it it normal that a new audio track is set to mono by default?
  8. Still… clearing both folders didn’t help. Logic still saw those audio units after scanning. It was only when I used the isotope uninstaller that they were finally removed. Weird…
  9. Never mind. I tried Izotop's own 'Product Portal' app, which also scans for installed products/trials and gives an uninstall option. Looks like there are more audio units plugin locations than those two 'compoents' ones mentioned above. It now has uninstalled all traces of their audio units. Logic scanned for them but couldn't find them this time. It did take a reboot though, not a restart. When I did a restart it still could 'see' traces of that plugin. When I did a full reboot of my Mac it didn't find those anymore.
  10. I installed the demo version of Isotope which also included some VST's and Audio Units. Now I deleted it, but I'm not able to delete it from Logic Pro. First I deleted any Izotope plug-ins I could find in: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ Then I deleted the com.apple.audiounits.cache to make Logic rescan the Audio Units. It then keeps on mentioning that certain plug-ins were 'incompatible' and when I open the Plug-in Manager, Izotope is still there under Manufacturers and lists a bunch of 'RX 7' plugins. Each saying 'cannot be opened' and unchecked. Now how can I remove the manufacturer Izotope and it's plug-ins that were at some point installed? I'm on the latest Mac running Big Sur and a fully updated Logic Pro 10.6.3.
  11. I also just discovered that I can just select each 'R' of each track so when I record it will record/play on all three tracks. Track 2 and 3 then show a kind of 'alias' in the track below the notes of track 1. With an arrow point at the direction the recorded notes were recorded from (track 1). So that seems to be what I'm after. But will check out folders too.
  12. I don't know if it's possible but here's want I'm after. I wish to add let's say 3 tracks. And then group them somehow. And when I record my midi notes on track 1, they should also play on track 2 and 3. The same when I replay that track 1. The output of the recorded notes on track 1 should output on track 1, 2 and 3. Each track has a different instrument. I could just record on track 1 and then copy those notes over to track 2 and 3. But perhaps is grouping tracks like I described above also possible? I tried using the method of adding tracks using the same channel, but then I couldn't get 3 different instruments. When I changed one, it would also change the other 2. Is what I want possible? So something like this: On track 1 I would have recorded some notes. While recording, those notes would also be heard playing on track 2 and 3. And when I would play that track back, those same notes would not just play on track 1 but also on track 2 and 3. Possible?
  13. When I copy a few bars from several tracks, can I then paste that region somewhere between at another position? I mean, I now copy a region first. Then I select the entire region where I want to paste that copied region in front of a fair amount of bars further. Then I paste the copied region at the position of the playhead and finally I move that moved region back to the end of the pasted region. I can't just copy a region, position the playhead where I want to past it and upon pasting have the content after it automatically moved to the right? I can either paste over it, paste replace or paste original position. There isn't a way to insert a copied region when pasting?
  14. After the latest update of Logic I went to Sound Library > Download All Available Sounds and let all sounds download over night. The next morning it was ready and when I went to Sound Library > Open Sound Library Manager it indicated all was 'Installed'. No 'Incomplete' soulds, loops etc. anymore anywhere. But going through my new loops I still found some that where greyed out with the download arrow next to them. Which it downloads when clicked upon. Tried reindexing my loops a few times, but that didn't work. Curious why not all loops are downloaded and installed even when the Sound Library Manager says so.
