~Joe, I did as you suggested and you are correct that when you touch the fader of the faderport, the plugin no longer pops up but........when you go to another track using the channel select buttons of the faderport your plugin window is back again GRRR!

Thanks but that doesn't solve it...each time I return to the track, the plugin window still pops up....

Is there any way to select a track in Logic X using a control surface without having the plugin window of that track automatically opening? I have the Presonus fader port and when I select/scroll through tracks, each plugin window of a track I pass opens and then updates to whatever plugin is on the next track that I scroll to. This gets annoying because I just want to get to a particular track, but can't see it because the plug in window pops open and I have to keep hitting the "V" key to close it. Any help is greatly appreciated
