  1. Update: on closer inspection it seems there is no audio in the 'R' track, but all others are there. They were all bounced together as splits, so I don't understand why one of the six would screw up every time. It's always 'R' that goes wrong. So confused!
  2. Hi folks, first post so apologies if not in the right place. I'm converting some tracks from stereo to 5.1 ITU, using Nugen Halo Upmix. (Yes, I realise it's not a true surround but this is what's required for this project) It's working great except that when I go to bounce the splits there seem to be errors - If I try to import those splits into a new Logic session to listen back, the R channel constantly flags as 'file can't be found' even though it's sitting there. In addition, the file extension it says it can't find is actually different to the one I'm trying to import! I've tried the process from scratch and double double checked my settings in Logic but no change. Any help much appreciated! Using Logic Pro X 10.2.0, Digidesign 002 rack (old but dependable), and latest demo version of Nugen Halo Upmix (full functionality) Macbook Pro Retina 2014 10.9.5 / 2.4 Intel Core i5 / 8GB RAM
  3. @Kolzing - thanks for the reply, but that's not quite what I meant. I'm fine with editing groups of tracks, it's editing multiple takes on one track that I'm having trouble with. For example, I record 4 vocal takes, and they're all stacked up on top of each other. Before I comp the take, I want to make chorus 2 a double chorus. So I snip the the chorus and repeat section. Fine, but I can't then adjust the length of any of the snipped sections on any of the takes. Which I need to, in order to cleanly comp them.
  4. Hi, can anyone shed any light on this for me: I've recorded several takes of drums, across 4 channels, which have layered up as playlists. So far so good. I now want to change the arrangement of the tune, so I want to slice all the takes at once and move sections around, so that all the takes have been re-arranged. I can do this, but the problem I have is that, having done so, I can't expand the chopped sections at all, in order to fine-tune the joins between sections. I'm sure I'm missing something but can't seem to find it, so if anyone can enlighten me I'd be very grateful. I know how to comp between takes, but the same rules/tools don't seem to apply to editing multiple takes at once, treating all takes as a region essentially.
