  1. I have that issue too with plugin like Izotope denoiser that induce a lot of latency. But not in every session. I'm working on a session with a video and Logic doesn't compensate for the lacenty so that audio and video are now desynchronized. In the session and after bounce.
  2. Didn't figure out yet how to do that. But thanks for that advice with the alternative tracks !!
  3. Hi, As you have seen in the title I was wondering if I have to flatten my drums take folders (9 takes) to apply quantization ? If yes what about the 8 others takes ? Where do the audio go ? Are they deleted by Logic ? What is I change my mind after I flatten my take folders and say I want to listen to another take ? Thanks
  4. Hi, Is it the same drive you used for MainStage ? Is there enough space available on it ?
  5. Don't be sorry David ! Yes I should have started another thread you're absolutely right, my bad ! That's what that community is meant to be. A source of knowledge for Logic Pro's users ! I'm more than happy to be useful too and not always come here to ask for something !
  6. I finally found out by myself ! Go to File > Project Settings > Movie and then there's a mute bouton to mute the audio tracks inside the video itself. This may be useful to the community.
  7. Final Cut was the answer ! It's capable of exporting the 8 mono audio tracks I have inside my video. Now here's the other issue I Have. I realize even though Logic doesn't make the audio tracks within the video visible, it's still playing audio from the video. How can I mute that audio knowing that there are no audio tracks that come from the video ? Dont know if I make myself clear ? The audio from the video interferes with the tracks I exported from Final Cut and re imported in Logic and it's really annoying !
  8. I just did and successfully imported a file with only one track. I need to extract them from somewhere else like you suggested. Thanks.
  9. Hi I have a mov file with 8 tracks in it. Problem is Logic doesn’t even see a single audio tracks when importing. It’s like there wasn’t any audio tracks at all. Is there any workaround ? Thanks
  10. Ok thanks David. Apple should really consider adding this feature which would make our lifes a lot easier ! It seems to me that automation in Logic really needs to be updated in many areas !!!
  11. Hi, I'd like to edit gain parameters using automation on a group of 2 tracks. Even tough I created a group for these 2 tracks and checked all the parameters for that group, whenever I modify let's say the gain of my gain plugin on one of the tracks, it doesn't affect the other one. Very annoying and the copy paste function for automation curses is not really easy to use. I always have a hard time copying the curves at the same position ... Is there a bug in Logic Pro 10.4.6 or is it impossible to edit other parameters than Volume, Pan, Edit ? Thanks
  12. Sure ! I don’t even understand why normalization still exists ! I’ve never found a proper way to use it !!! Thanks a lot for this very interesting chat.
  13. I asked for the file they use to air the track and listen to it in Logic. I don’t know if it was normalized but it’s louder and sounds nothing like the file I gave them. It sounds saturated and I can definitely hear digital clipping that don’t exist in my version. When I asked what they did to the file they told me they boosted it a little in ... Audacity.
  14. No it’s under control. The highest peaks I have are limited by 1 or 2 dB most of the time. 3 or 4 Max. The EBU R128 recommands to set it at - 1dB that’s why I do that. But maybe this applies only to broadcast I don’t know. I’ll try at - 0,3 you’re right. They’re gonna like better like that ! Ahah
