In case anyone was wondering, the P1 also went back. Apparently the F key functions are not supported in Sierra or High Sierra as far as know.

I went with a Nektar P1. So far I'm very happy with it.

I’m on the hunt for another control surface now. The Platform’s small footprint was one of the things I liked about it but hard to find in others.

It’s super buggy. Logic identified it as a control surface straight away but it was unresponsive. Factory reset seemed to have worked for a minute and while it was working, it was great. Calibrated the faders then it went back to being unresponsive. I’ve been messing around with it all night and I’m not pleased with its buggyness. It’s a shame because I did like it quite a bit when it worked. However, it’s going back for a refund tomorrow.

I just grabbed one yesterday. I'm still on Sierra but haven't had a chance to plug it in yet. I'll post back after I check it out.

I had issues closing/saving 9 in the past. I’d get a beach ball. Closing all windows first fixed it. That was on os 10.6 though I think. Can’t remember.

You need to get Virus Control to recognize the Virus. Make sure the Virus is fully booted up before starting Logic. Also you could try with out anything else connected to the computer. Only the Virus.

Midi delay? Regular audio delay? Maybe I don’t understand what you mean exactly.

The Virus will need to be connected via the Virus Control control plugin. I’m not sure if any of the other synths have dedicated plugins that handle usb audio like that but if they don’t, the aggregate device route David mentioned is what you will have to do.

Further more, I really like Alchemy. I’m in agreement with that!

The Arp sawtooth in Alchemy is tasty.

It’s even audible browsing all the different basic waveforms included with Alchemy.
