hi dave ..i just have the midi out of xl lead to the midi in on the digi 003 i just want to record the midi as audio have better control over the sounds or sequences i create with the xl lead.. what do u think would be the best setup for this .so i can process this as audio should i go with the audio out of the xl to my mixer or right to the digi audio in on the 003 ? thanks for all your time

tried that no audio is pasing through,,,, any settings need to be made in the 003 ..i know this is not a digi site but sorry thats my interface and i use both products ..thnks

hello all ..i have not used any midi in ages here in logic 9 ..what would be the best way to record the midi as audio in logic ..i am using a digi 003 which is pretty confusing also ..i have the midi out of the xl lead to the midi in on the digi 003 ..should i hook the audio out of the xl lead to the mixer board or route the audio out of the xl lead to inputs 3 and 4 on the digi 003 ..just alittle confused how to record the sounds into logic as audio when playing them as midi in logic 9 ..thanks in advance

does anyone know how to uninstall any of the spectrasonic pluggins since they do not come with uninstallers..using mac g5 10.5..thanks in advance

jen ..just drag your parts over to the apple loop ..convert them ..also should be pretty easy since u know the tempo is at 120 and u need it at 119 ...wht are these parts vocals or drums ,keys ect...u can use the time pitch machine in logic ..drums chose rhymic ..and so on .. any more info u can give it would help ..should be pretty easy since u know the original tempo ..thanks

teddy riley there are not many that are better..true genius.....i stopped using logic because i cannot do remixes in logic i switched to pt 7.4 and could not be happier ..but i still use logic for some things ..best of both worlds ..once pt 8 is out looks like i am pretty much done with logic ...lp8 has not stepped up as far as audio editing ...this is not a dispute post ,,just giving my 2 cents ..i miss this great fourm david is the best .......later

what he is saying is set the output of the track that the accapella on to bus 1 then create another track make the input bus 1 ..then you just click record then you are recording whats on the audio bussed output on bus 1 that you have chosen for your input..hope this helps

like tb said but you have to draw in the tempo changes in the global tracks tempo column....default is 120 i think you will see that drag it up or down to your liking ,later

go into the transformer window make sure you are on gm drum find your hats set the res to 32nd then draw in your hats ..if thats to fast go down in your res.later

hey dave whats up my friend..i watched one of sflogic ninja vids he did it no problem... why am i not able to do it ?what am i not doing correctly ?it can be done that way correct?..also why i rerecord it from a bus to another track ..it still does not sync properly ...even with the metronome ...i wish someone would do a through detailed on finding bpm of accapella in logic ....or beatmapping for dummies ..cant seem to get my mind around grasp it .hanks

hello please tell me if i am doing something wrong here....i have an accapella on audio track 1 i bounce it and uncheck normalize..i leave it in the bounces folder...but i leave import to bin checked ....it bounces everything correctly to the bin ..from the bin i drag it to a new audio track so i can check the follow tempo button so i dont have to worry about beatmapping ..well my follow tempo button does not show up ...what am i doing wrong? when i rerecord the audio via a bus onto another track i do see the follow tempo button. after the recording ...but the accapella does not not seem to be in time with the tempo via the metronome....i am trying to get this beatmapping thing down ..anyone that can help please do so ...thanks

will work no problem, just install and in logic use that as your audio driver and your set,,i use digi 003 rack factory no issues at all ..need anything else just ask ,,later
