  1. Thank you, shia. It works for me. I notice that there is a noticeable lag. It is probably better to use usb cable yet it gives mobility at least.
  2. I am still using Mac because I like the UI. And of course Logic Pro X. Now I am thinking to replace my MacBook Pro Late 2011 15' (the one which got recall) with a new computer. I am still using it by disabling its dGPU with the Grub solution. I did not really think that I would still be stuck with the almost 6~7-year-old computer in 2018 when I bought the Mac. In spite of the GPU issue, the laptop is still working fast most of the time and still looks almost new. Great. But I really think that I should get a new computer soon. I really like the space gray color of the latest MacBook Pro 2017. I can manage to stand the fewer ports it has gotten. I am just fine with 256GB with 16GB ram right now, which I do not know if I add more virtual instruments in the future. MagSafe, I will always love it but I do not mind if it returns. However, I am too afraid of hardware problems of recent Macbook pros I saw on the Internet such as screen failure (https://jp.ifixit.com/Answers/View/438327/Black+shadows+from+the+bottom+of+the+screen), power / AC adapter related issues, and the fragile keyboard and screen coating. I will buy MacBook Pro again only if Apple releases any robust and reliable ones again. If not... I might simply get HP and Ableton.
  3. Anyone facing issues with Piano Roll on Logic Pro X 10.4.1? Maybe because I am not using Logic correctly. I was fascinated for a short while that Logic finally started show percussion name on the left side of Piano Roll window until I discovered that it only shows piano keys instead of names sometimes. Another alleged glitch is the horizontal scroll bar of the piano roll pane sometimes disappears. I need to resize the window everytime it happens. Yet another alleged glitch is zoom slide buttons in the Piano Roll pane does not sometimes allow zooming. I have not found what triggers the above problems yet.
  4. I am sorry that I cannot help you much. Have a nice day!
  5. Thank you for a reply. Now I see what you mean. I tried with ChordTrig MIDI FX and it is not showing any chord names. Just out of my curiosity, did the previous version of 10.3 show chord names just like the Chord Memorizer used to do? Thank you for the information on midiChordAnalyzer. It will be helpful for me, too.
  6. Thank you. I noticed that the funky visualization in ChromaVerb is not showing on my 2011 MacBook Pro 15. But I assume that this is a kind consideration of Apple to make Logic Pro X useable on older machines. And have they perhaps changed how Automation/MIDI interface works?
  7. I tried the Chord Memorizer now and I see that MIDI Activity (In/Out) shows something as I hit a relevant key on my MIDI keyboard. Are you sure that you have set up the Chord Memorizer properly?
  8. This is a free update. Sounds too good and too generous and I almost believe that I had to pay another few hundred bucks by seeing a button for buying with a price tag underneath. Apparently, this is a bug in App Store. I could find "Install" button on the Logic Pro X product page only after I did "Sign In" and entered my Apple ID password. It was like a late Christmas present from Apple and I just wanted strings and horns. I am now downloading 5.52 GB of additional contents for Studio Strings / Horns.
