  1. Beginner Question: I opened Battery 4 Plug-In in Logic. How do I assign a drumpad (from my AKAI MPK Mini) to another cell in Battery 4?
  2. yep, figured it out, but thanks for mentioning again. Also nice to see you can add infos on your hardware setup in that box below your comment. Will also try to set that up.
  3. Beginner Question: I've recorded 12 Tracks, each into one project file. Each Track has 10 Inputs. Just finished adjusting one Track with Plugin to my liking. Is there an easy way to copy and paste all Plugin Settings from one Project to another?
  4. Beginners Question. I want to record the drone from Native Instruments India Discovery Series. In Kontakt it has the Play Button and I do get audio levels in the track, also can hear it, but when I hit record it doesn't record anything. Any idea how to record the drone? Attached screenshots.
  5. yes, could also sent some fotos from the MixPre Display showing the Output Routings, if that is helpful.
  6. 1. solved. Thanks. 2. ups, once I R-enabled the Mac Audio Track for monitoring (while having Software Monitoring activated) I got an audio loop feedback. directly disabled it. I tried solving it by pulling down Stereo Out Fader in the right inspector channel strip (still can hear Mac Audio) and then R-Enabled the Track again, this time no audio loop feedback. Then adjusted the EQ Levels, but didn't hear a change in the live feed. So for now I R-disabled Mac Audio and pulled up Stereo Out again. I'm using a MixPre-10T as Audio Interface with lastest Firmware on MacBook Pro Late 2013 (OS 10.12.6). Here are some screenshots from my Logic (10.4.4) Setup: Input Output Settings: https://www.dropbox.com/s/m9nmkxeeglyuikl/Screen%20Shot%202020-05-02%20at%2016.47.12.png?dl=0 Environment Window: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tub9olssjsk3ocw/Screen%20Shot%202020-05-02%20at%2017.17.47.png?dl=0 Main Window: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bktivnxvxosavaa/Screen%20Shot%202020-05-02%20at%2017.22.06.png?dl=0
  7. Thanks David, it's working. Two add-on questions: 1. How to I remove the Plugins I added in the Environment Channel Strip. Usually (in the Region Inspector from Main Logic Window) I can click on the Plugin and remove it. Doesn't work when clicking on the Plug-In in the Environment Window. I found a way to delete the Channel Strip, but when adding a new one it still has the old Plug-Ins in the Inserts. 2. Is there a way to also hear the plug-in effect being added to the audio track (prior or during live recording)?
  8. Is there is a way to apply plugins (for example EQ) to an Input Monitor signal before recording? We do interviews via cleanfeed and instead of recording it and then applying plugins I'd like to apply the plugin (and see the plugin effect) while the live audio comes in. (And I'm the guy having to find a solution for it). I'm on beginners Levels in Logic. I've researched this topic already and read about this solution: 1. Record through an aux track and out the effect on the aux 2. Then route the signal from the aux to an audio track My problem: I don't know how to do that. I tried, but at some point I got this very loud feedback sound, so I must have done something wrong. Could someone help me narrow this solution down for Beginners Level? Or if you know an easier solution even better.
  9. I had the same problem today while working through the book. At Logic Pro X 10.3 the 24bit Recording option is now under Preferences > Recording.
