Forgive me, for I am new to this page and this forum.
A friend recommended me to ask for some help on this forum, stating that all my questions can be answered here.
After 10 years of playing guitar and knowing the basics of most instruments, I am now ready to start my journey into recording. My goal is to create a studio, learn how to record properly and effectively, and eventually start recording artists. I've built an iMac online to the specifications which I feel will be suitable for my needs due to some quick research.
Attached is a picture of the specifications I selected. I'm curious as to wether 32gb RAM is too much for what I need? I want to be able to do orchestral compositions along with my band. Would I be better off getting 1TB flash storage and sacrificing 16gb RAM? Or is 512gb enough internal storage?
people tell me it's possible to be overkill but if I'm spending the cash why limit myself right?
Any insight will be helpful.
Thank you,
Kirk Wells
