  1. Thank you Fisherking. Sorry, I didn't see your post the first time I clicked from my email.
  2. When I have a project loaded up and I go to file and "save a copy as" Is the copy less quality? The reason for asking is I just did that to a finished song and the copy is 200MBs smaller.
  3. I have a mid 2015 MacBook Pro with Monterey 12.6.3. I currently have Logic 10.7.6. Is there any benefit to update to 10.7.7? I know that my computer won't allow too many more updates cause of age.
  4. Thanks again Steve, I have 5 songs finished. I been tweaking them and trying to use a lot of the different plugins that Logic has to offer. Just to see what they do. I was using an M/S Linear EQ and when I bypassed it, It moved the correlation meter to the right a little. Also I high passed the guitars a little more and that helped as well. I'll check out that link. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Thank you for the well explained info. I tried the gain plugin and flipped the polarity, there is no change. What is causing the meter to be that far in the negative? It's only on the right and left guitars soloed. When I play the song as a whole, the meter is all the way to the right.
  6. Yes, I turned off all track and master bus plugins one by one. Bypassing the Linear EQ on master bus helped, but still on negative side of zero on meter. Actually goes back and forth from plus to negative around zero. Is this normal? Direct in. Yes two different recordings.
  7. I am having phase issues with my DI guitars. With a correlation meter on output with no other plugins and when I hard pan both guitar takes it's way in the negative on the meter, but as I back off the hard pan to 50 it's just to the right of zero on the meter. As I get to closer to center on pan the more the meter goes to the right. I tried the gain plugin phase switch. I turned off all the plugins on the guitar tracks as well and still out of phase. I also tried a couple of different guitars, single coil and humbuckers. Im using a ur44 Steinberg interface into mid 2015 MacBook Pro with Logic 10.7.5 Thanks for your help in advance.
  8. Is there any difference on using Logics Linear Mid/side EQ vs using 2 seperate Linear EQs one for Mid the other for Side? Has anyone notice a difference with sound or anything else? Just curious.
  9. Thank you for the fast response. I did a Track Stack. I wanted to be sure if one wasn't better than the other. I have an electric guitar track that I divided up with different pannings and volumes throughout the song to give the song more dynamics. Not sure if this is normal. But instead of HighPass EQing every guitar track, can I put one on the summing track?
  10. I have multiple electric guitar tracks. Is it better to group to an Aux track or can I do a track stack?
  11. But if I have 10 or so tracks consisting of Drums, guitars vocals etc. all at -0.1 dBFS isn't that gonna clip the main output?
