  1. Good Day I need a tutorial ! I would like to start over in the control change window so only what I'm actually using shows up, rather everything Ive ever plugged in. I've got a Meloaudio Midi Commander that just does not "talk to" logic. In fact all of my midid controllers seem to work only sometimes and then LPX seems to forget whatever I set. I gave everyone its midi channel. I set demix. I just want to start from scratch, but I don't know how. Also, can control setting be saved by the song or is it only a global thing? Thank you and be well BAMM -2017 iMac 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 OS Big Smurf 11.1 LPX 10.6.1 Komplete Kontrol S49 MeloAdio Midid Commander Novation Launch Control XL Korg Nanopad2
  2. Now des99, I didn't meant to hurt your feelings I just didn't really see your post sorry I will give it a go and let you know. Cheers
  3. Jordi Thanks for merging for me I will try harder not to double post ... sorry Soooo, not that you nicely merged my posts, how about your learned thoughts on this issue Thank you
  4. *** This post is NOT asking about controlling soft instruments *** I have multiple audio track that I want to control with usb/midi controllers. A single guitar track with NI Guitar Rig are controlled using NI Rig Kontrol Vocal track effects are to be controlled with IK Stealth Pedal While other band mates using Internal/soft effects use there controllers {it appears that using the same controllers as others cannot be used because LPX cannot recognize matching controllers. ie: two NI Rig Kontrols} My question is ::: How do I highlight/open all of the audio tracks that need controlling. Because it seems that only highlighted track . can be controlled, leaving the others on different tracks with no control. I need simultaneous usb/midi control over multiple audio tracks Thank you BAMM
  5. Well, it seems that I have stumped both this help board and the Native Instruments boards. I have a hard time believing I'm the only one on these boards who wants to use multiple Rig Kontrols to control audio in Logic X. I've watched ... I think, all of the Mainstage videos out there without having to pay for something. Over and over it all about instrument tracks and shite. Not much, even, about audio or even LPX to MS connectivity. Okay then ... If anyone finds something out there that might be useful, let me know Cheers
  6. Are you trying to be funny or just unhelpful
  7. Interesting and longwinded tech speak. Reading puts me to sleep ... sorry I'm a bit more visual/hands on learner I was hoping for a good video tutorial and it would be even better if it were made by someone to do with Logic
  8. Now I do 8) and this is very cool. It didn't really help me understand all armed instruments weren't being triggered by on controller, but I'll try to make it work. Thank you for that and on the audio/Rig Kontrol issue ::: I'm still waiting for a reply from NI. In the mean time can you guide me to any free but good tutorials on MainStage. Someone told me that MS may be the solution to my audio control problems. Thank you BAMM
  9. As far as the instruments go ::: Everything seems to work after clicking back and forth until everything I want is lit at the same time until the highlighted track ins changed. then everyting I have record armed becomes unarmed. But When it does work and i don't change the highlighted track, Kontact which is playing Damage (in this case) will not respond unless individually highlighted itself and nothing else plays from the usb control keyboard Thank you
  10. The reason I wrote the other, newer post on it's own is because this question is not well worded and it brought up more questions than answers. Did you read the other one ? I would rather fly with the one you told me to delete ... if that's okay with you ... sir. But if not I am trying to control the effects on multiple audio tracks using different usb controllers. I have two Native Instruments Guitar Rig usb controllers. One controls Guitar effects, in Guitar Rig, on guitar tracks, while the other is to be used to control effects for vocals, in Guitar Rig, on vocal tracks. The first problem is that I cannot get LPX to recognize two Guitar Rig controllers and the next problem is that I cannot use them at the same time, apparently, because I cannot highlight more than one track at a time, HOw do I make this happen Is this what Mainstage is for? And if it is how do I make it work in that program, Thank you in advance BAMM iMac (21.5-inch), 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 : Presonus Fire Pod : LPX : NI Komplete. P.S. Could you explain how to close the other post Cheers

  12. How do I highlight multiple channels/tracks? I have two NI Guitar Rigs one to control guitar and one to control effects on vocals. I would like to control these at the same time but, it seems, if the track is not highlighted I am unable to control the unhighlighted track. I am also having and issue with playing multiple software instruments (Kontact, Kore, FM8, and Logic synths) at the same time unless that specific track is highlighted. I just upgraded form LP9 to LPX and am finding it rough to get them to act the same since I didn't have this issue in PL9 Thank you
  13. Hello I am now running Logic X and Guitar Rig for effect ... on everything. I am considering getting a second or third Rig Kontrol but am not sure if it would work. So how this might work is not needing to change channels in LPX to control GR. Example I am using GR to control vocals and 3 layers of guitars, if I had say 4 Rig Kontrols, it seems I wouldn't need to toggle between channels. /Instead I could shoe gaze and tap dance/ Thank you BAMM
