  1. Hello triplets! I have a Macbook Pro, i5, 2.8Ghz, 8GB ram, .... with a 500GB SSD drive (where Logic Pro X 10.4.0 is installed, with all extra content and projects)... I have another 500GB USB external drive (that is not SSD), which im using as backup... Now I bought this Lacie Thunderbolt connection 2TB to use as main Logic Pro drive, or to install my AU's or Samplers... Plugins on general... I'm using a Apollo Twin DUO MKII thunderbolt connection... but Im still having dropouts gaps sometimes..., so which drive configuration would be better to minimize some latency problems? (or it just gonna get worst?)
  2. Yeah! you're right... ahaha... well, this drive its not SSD... so it would be better to use it for samplers and AU's? What about latency in this case? I bought this drive to free space on the main mac drive... where Logic and projects is located... I have another USB external HD to use as a backup.
  3. Hello guys! My doubt today its about External HD usage for music production... I just bought a Lacie thunderbolt connection with 2TB storage... and I just want to know if I will have latency issues depending on how I'm thinking to use it... Will I have latency issues by using this external HD to storage my projects while Im tracking or mixing (this was my first option, use this disc as my Logic Pro HD...)? It would be better to use it just for backup and samplers/vst storage? (if I use it to install vsts, what kind of issues I could have)? Could I use this disc for all this (Logic Pro storage + backups + vsts/samplers) without any problems? Appreciate your help!!
  4. Thank you triplets! It worked! I had no problems with this plugin before, while producing this project... or other projects, even today I still use it and as stand alone too... Maybe some update caused some conflict with the preset I was using in this project... I don't know..., I will need to try use a new preset or other plugin to get the sound I was using before it crashes....
  5. Hello friends, I got this message when I try to load a project.... this is getting me so frustrated, is that some way to rescue the project? https://ibb.co/k3dx7Q
  6. Well... I don't remember getting this same problem in other projects... My Macbook config is: El Captain, Logic Pro X 10.3, 2,8GHz, 8GB RAM, 500GB HD (with 125 free space). I'm using a Apogee One interface... Im not sure if those troubleshooting could work on this...
  7. I really don't know what is happening.... I tried again, not using the apogee one, I removed all tracks, except the 6 vocal tracks, saved as a new file, but in the same point of the song, the audio get muted... pressing the play button, still get muted... So, this can be a corrupted project kind of issue?
  8. Sorry... I mentioned it wrong... I'm using pre fader option already, and still having problems....
  9. I dont think so... because pre fader will save the tracks without process the plugins right? so I will keep needing to use the plugins... or am I wrong?
  10. Hi Logic Pro's masters! I'm getting the following problem during producing in Logic Pro X, with my Apogee One: When I play the project, which is using a lot of plugins, automations, tracks... an it comes to a specific point on the song that I hear a big "clank" / or / "click" / or / "clip" noise, and then the project goes muted... and when I play the start button again, this noise comes again, like pressing the play button make this clank noise again in my monitors and the song don't plays..... so I have to close Logic..... Is that some kind of overload? or my project is crashed? I already tried to decrease the CPU usage by freezing all tracks, but the problem persists... Any idea?
