  1. Man you really hit a nerve mentioning ultrabeat lol. Im on record many times saying logic needs a better plugin for drums and while DMD is better it’s still not what it should be. Reading your post I realize just how much seems unfinished in logic…seems pretty common for this software.
  2. I agree ES2 is very easy to navigate no matter how it looks. After cleaning out my plugins folder and starting to use more stock sounds I see there's a lot plugins that need a facelift or just need to be removed if you ask me.
  3. Sup guys I recently worked on a project with all stock instruments and I forgot how useable logics library actually is. Im wondering do you guys think well ever see a new gui for instruments such as Sculpture and ES2?
  4. Sup everyone. Just wondering if there is a way to simply tap tempo without getting a message about enabling sync mode or whatever it is? I never realized how annoying it is to do such a basic feature in logic but it’s long overdue for an update if this can’t be done.
  5. Ive learned subscriptions aren't the problem, being forced into them is. I don't see why we can't choose to pay full price or subscribe and that goes for any product. It almost seems anti consumer.
  6. Any luck with this? I would like to do the same thing.
  7. After testing it out in 10.6 the changes I made seem to be working now in 10.7. Its a very useful feature indeed and makes logics browser a tad bit more tolerable. Thanks for the response Dox.
  8. Not sure if it makes any difference or not but in the version I'm using the bookmark icon is always visible. The problem I'm having is when I navigate to any folder on my drive and select the option to bookmark it nothing actually saves or shows up under the bookmarks tab. I have a backup of version 10.6 and everything works as expected but after updating I seem to have lost the ability to use such a simple function.
  9. Im referring to the "all files" tab in the project browser. The shortcut to open it is the 'F' key assuming you haven't changed that. So opening the project browser selecting all files and navigating to a folder on my computer such as the documents folder I should be able to right click and select bookmark folder. After that once I'm under the all files tab again I can click the bookmark icon with all the folders I have saved. Im beginning to think this is a bug.
  10. Thanks for the response des. In logics browser I had the ability to browse to a folder and save it in the bookmarks tab for faster access later, sort of like a favorites function. Since 10.7 this feature seems not to work.
  11. Since updating to 10.7 & 10.7.1 I can't bookmark folders anymore. Anyone else having this issue?
  12. Logic doesn't have anything like that built in but you can download software that will help. one being keyfinder, its free and will detect the key of any wav file. Another is chord detector by ddmf. Just drag your wav file in and it will detect the chords being played. I remember this software being fairly accurate when I used it but since I have no use for such software these days I can't tell you if its been improved or not. Consider leaving a feature request for some kind of chord detection like studio one has, its built in and works pretty well.
  13. I agree with triplets skip the intel model if you haven’t made a purchase yet. I had a 16 inch i9 and the fan noise drove me insane to the point where I wanted it off my hands ASAP. I traded it in to Apple at a loss but what I did get for it take a lot of money off the M1 air I purchased in its place. I have no problems running any plugins so far so it was a smooth transition into M1.
  14. Couldn't agree more. The fans on my 16" MBP literally make me not want to use it which is why I've been creating tracks with some standalone devices now. Hopefully the rumored 14 inch MBP releases this year or even an m1 desktop will surely be my next purchase.
