Hello everyone, HELP! I have a Imac with and recently purchased a Mac pro. I want to say that about the time I purchased my laptop top all this started. Could be a coincidence. I also use a Western Digital external hard drive, My Cloud home to save my projects . It seemed like one day everything worked fine, now I have problems opening practically every project I have recorded. Some say "Could not be open/ Not correct format, File might be corrupted, truncated or an unexpected format. Then other times I have loads of Audio files missing or the project will open and then stop responding with the never ending beachball. In that case i can not even force quit it without a hard shut down due to the fact that the mac will not shut down because it see logic is open...UGH.. Why did this start happening out of the blue. The External Hard drive acted up as well. Thanks in Advance.

Yes, I have. All plugins come back as successfully installed, The logic plugin do not say anything, I am assuming that is because it is part of the software itself, I could be wrong. I will work on it again when I get home. As I told David, I can not exprees how much I appreciate your help. Thank you so much.

I actually tried the app store again, and it set up 10.4.7, however, it seems glitchy. I use the UA apollo 8 and it does not recognize it . I do get audio with the built in though. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all you do for not only me but for so many others. I am on the east coast and it 3 AM i will get back on it tomorrow and keep you updated. Thanks again.

I did the update on the app store now this is happening , There were a few plugins that i had to skip over because there was an error

when I click that it takes two minutes and then I get the plugin missing shot. Logic pro is next to the finder up on the top left but no drop down window at all.

I see an update only in the purchased section, no reinstall.

I put all pending projects on my external drive to play it safe. On the computer itself it responds the same way.

I longer have any Logic icons to click ,however when I open a project this pops up

I had originally updated and still had the Plugin missing screen, after try alot of different things I decided to uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy. I am still learning the logic pro sofware, however alot of this to me is confusing. I believe I uninstalled everything, however not 100% sure.
