  1. I'm having an annoying problem with Logic 10.7.7. I'm trying to add Vwinds to my template. Everything works as usual when I add the first channel (set to midi out channel 1). Upon adding a second channel via "Add new track with next midi channel" Logic breaks the inspector. See the pic below. I've googled the problem description but didn't find anything similar. Any idea how to fix it?
  2. Hi there, I always work with several chunks of midi regions on the same channel. Sometimes I glue some midi regions which cause two channels for the same CC (CC1 ch.1 and CC1 ch.2). How can I prevent Logic from creating more than one channel for each CC?
  3. Never mind. It looks like the copy/paste function works just fine.
  4. Hi there, is it possible to export all global tracks to a new project?
  5. Jay, yes you've nailed it! Thanks for the other suggestions. Apparently, the problem is gone by putting the fader volume to the highest. But I will make sure to try those ideas in case the issue persists. Thank you!
  6. I've just discovered it is indeed my Keystation sending cc7 data out of the volume fader. It looks like I cannot disable this function on the keyboard. Is there a way I can disable Logic from receiving this data instead?
  7. I see. It's a brand new template, and I am unsure what I have done to cause this behavior.
  8. Do you have VEPRO? I don't have instruments loaded on LP but on VEPRO. Here it is: https://we.tl/t-2VMt1IbUni
  9. Hi David, no, the grid is completely blank, no midi region, or anything else. I can only control modulation and pitch bend from my keyboard. I've noticed that the Kontakt faders change when I just click on the track associated with it. No need to hit play. Logic seems to send out some data according to this outdated article. https://support.apple.com/pt-br/guide/logicpro/lgcp94b70f34/mac
  10. Hi, Many of my Kontakt patches are constantly dropping in volume. I have checked and found out that, once you hit play, LPX sends out midi data CC7 and CC10, which affects the instrument. There are some links teaching how to prevent LPX from sending those midi data, but all of them are outdated, and I can't find the right place to uncheck the setting. How can I disable this function in version 10.5.1?
  11. Gentlemen, I would like to report that I have learned a lot from this conversation. I used to use Logic channels connected to a single VEP which is the simplest and hassle-free manner. However, loading tons of VEPs VEPRO has proven to be very inefficient to the CPU in my system. That is why I decided to merge the many VEPs into few big ones and there where all problems begin. Ivan helped me to figure out the final touches, and I must say it is working now. Unlike most other DAWs, Logic has not been designed to work with midi ports and that is why topics like this occur. I am only intrigued by the lack of information on the internet which makes me believe very few people have been engaged in assembling such interaction between Logic and VEPRO (which BTW is far from being fancy). Thank you Jay, Steve, and Ivan. Guys like you help mere composers like me to set up this complicated midi world. Steve, I must add that I have NEVER been aggressive towards you. All posts are here unaltered, and if you care about facts just go back and re-read them. If you don't care to re-read I don't care what you think I did. I just would like to clarify that I have only appreciation for your help here. BTW, I don't speak Spanish!
  12. I did remove it, but it didn't work! Is this a joke? I've already explained multiple times that AG and Kontakt ARE WORKING FINE!!! I've already explained, also multiple times, that is working with Kontakt because I am using AG script on it, and AG doesn't have any way to interfere on other players. With one email Ivan was able to understand what I am trying to do. But opposed to what I am getting here, he said this is not simple to be done with Logic and he would try to figure out. It looks like it's turning into an argument. I only said that I may switch to Cubase because things there are way easier, period! Then you doubted that I would be able to make expression maps work there. I did it in less than ten minutes, and I thought it would be important to share. As far as I can see, this forum is for helping Logic users with their struggles and is not praising the software. If you didn't like the comparison, which I think is quite good for the improvement of Logic, please hold your horses, but there's nothing to dislike. Ok I will make sure to try AU2, but if it works I will lose the midi ports. Either way, I will have to decide what I have to let go if I use Logic. Whatever it is, it's working fine on Cubase! I believe you, but I am becoming uncomfortable to come back here. I've been spending a couple of weeks browsing everywhere on the internet and writing here, over and over again, in multiple ways, for you to say that I am not motivated to figure out? All right, our perspectives are going in opposite directions and I don't think it worth continuing. Btw, I've read many threads where you've been involved and, like here, you were misunderstanding the input of others. I truly appreciate your help so far but let's stop now. I will go in a straightforward way and make sure to not bother you over here anymore. Let's take a bear and relax. Thank you!
  13. Once again, I've got all Kontakt instruments perfectly working with the AG scripter. What's not working are the non-Kontakt players. I have changed back to midi channel to ALL as I have done before and still not working. I loaded your script and still not working. Nothing, anything, nada! But I have good news. I could make it work smoothly on Cubase!! Claps! No hassle, no special scripting, nothing fancy. On Cubase, you only have to assign the midi port and midi channel, load the expression map and everything will work just fine.
