  1. Hey JakobP. I've just tried on an empty project. It seems I/O "number" on LPX and on my interface doesn't match. Anyway it works on the empty project. I can print without any latency. That's great. And for whatever reason now it is working in LPX. I didn't do anything special. It even works on the problematic project and I can solo I/O inserted tracks. I don't know what I did, I've already tried on empty project but it didn't work. And now it did O_O. Anyway I enjoy my situation now and I am ready to give my precise setup to everyone struggling with that ! Thx !
  2. Ho and by the way, I am not soloing the track and have followed the process to make I/O soloed track possible.
  3. Thanks for coming by to help . Yes Apollo interface is correctly selected in LPX. I can assign all it's output without problem. Anyway I don't know why I only have sound on output 1 and 2 and not on the other one. Whereas on Reaper if I output a track to output 3 and can hear it through output channel mixer on UAD console. It's like Logic is only communicating with output 1 and 2
  4. Hi all, Me again here is the basic setup : Apollo Silverface interface, LPX last version. I'm trying to use the I/O plugin to use external hardware processing. Normally I use Pro Tools for that but I forget my Ilok in another country (fun) so I get back to Logic for mixing for a moment. In Pro Tools, my setup let me use my hardware and I/O plugins easily. Even on Reaper, the ReaInsert plugins works wonderfully to use external hardware. But on Logic it is impossible to make it work. I've tried every Input/Output combo but still not working. I always got silence. I only got sound when I chose ouput 1 or 2. 1 : sound to the left, 2 : sound to the right. Otherwise no sound. I don't understand why on LPX it is not working whereas it is working great on Pro Tools and Reaper. - You can tell me I can still use Reaper to mix, but I create on LPX so it would be more convenient to me to use it to mix too sometimes -. So if someone as an Apollo Silverface and can help me to make this I/O plugins work, that'd be wonderful. Thank you all in advance ! Cheers .
  5. Hey all thanks for your feedbacks, so quick !! I've tried to select a "nude" audio track. It didn't change. I've change the Multithreading for Playback tracks (and not live tracks) and it indeed help to balance the core a bit more. Now another core is peaking, but a lot less and it is more manageable. Why should I use it on Live Tracks, I remember switching it on for a good reason but I can't remember that reason x). I've also tried to disable plugins one by one. It seems that the Acustica Audio Ivory 3 Band Comp is overloading 1 core. The core that is managing the mixbus I think. The Ivory EQ and 1 band Comp are a also CPU demanding but a lot less. Your all really helpful. I wish my problems with PT were solved as quickly as those ones.
  6. Hello all, I know this subject had been covered quite few times already, but I do think something is going wrong here with my mac. Specs : MBP mid-2015, less than 1 year old. 512 Go SSD. 16 Go RAM. i7. Sierra 10.12.1 LPX 10.3.2 UAD Apollo Quad Silver interface Logic seems to concentrate on only 1 core. Only audio tracks for mixing. Only 64 bits plugin. I can't really use the techniques Apple is suggesting by splitting plugins to auxes since I don't have that much plugin on tracks (I attached pictures when playback and not playback). Notice that when I'm not playing back, 1 single core (the problematic one) is still active. I can't point out why. Thank you for your help all ! Cac.
  7. Haaa sorry. Well in I/O it's input 3 - ouput 3. No ping compensation (but even with it, it fails), nom volume change. I have to tell that I've tried every ouput-input combinaison and nothing works. I remember having one time the processed signal only on the right or left channel blended with the unprocessed signal. But it only happens one time when I tried the ouput 1-2. I think I should make a video and attach the strange sounds that I got. I'm sure it'll help you a lot more .
  8. Still the same Ouput 3 NI --> Input hardware / Oupu hardware --> Input 3 NI. I've disabled the monitoring on the sound card. SO only monitoring from Logic Pro. I'm sure it's something easy ^^.
  9. It's a feature in Logic - preferences.
  10. Yep indeed, but still got the problem.
  11. Nope, sorry I didn't explain well. But the problem with I/O is still the same. And the problem with going through a hardware too. Do you think it comes from the "mirrored ouput" of Logic Pro ?
  12. I've disabled the monitor on my interface. But it's still the same . Argh !
  13. I don't know, I'm lost as I don't understand why in Pro Tools it works flawlessly :s.
