  1. Is there a workaround for this yet? I wanted the same feature and came to this page, but looks like this feature is not available yet. I tend to use the "Create empty midi region" a lot and a keyboard shortcut for this would be very helpful.

    Book question

Thanks for the response, David. I redownloaded the zip file and now the files are fine - they are all LogicPro project files. Last time I downloaded, I think they had somehow got corrupted - probably because I used Unarchiver app to unzip.
  3. I face the same issue when Exporting Audio to Movie (3 hrs). I am able to export audio normally in CAF. But I could not find the option to export audio in CAF when exporting to movie. Any help will be appreciated.

    Book question

Since I couldn't find a forum to ask a question about the book by David, I am asking here. I just bought the 10.3 version book. In chapter 2, it says " Open Logic Pro X Files > Lessons >02 Get Dancing. " But, I do not see any instruction on opening this lesson file. All lesson files do not have an extension, and Logic throws an error if I try to open this file. Anyone knows what these files are and how to open them> Should I add an extension to the file name?
  5. Thank you. I think I will be able to get closer to what I need with this approach. I initially tried with Waves C1 compressor, but did not get the right concept. This video is helpful in figuring out the approach to take.
  6. Hi, I am fairly new to LogicPro X. I am trying to figure out the best way to do this. I have a long video recording of a band performance. It has a stereo recording of the audio, with the audience reactions. I have another track, recorded directly from the mixer output. I need to combine the two mixes. What I want to do is, write automation on the audience track, so that I increase the volume only when there is audience reaction, and reduce the volume at all other times. When I apply this automation and increase the volume, is there a way that the other track (recorded from the mixer) can automatically reduce volume, so that the loudness can be maintained? The video is over 2 hours long. Thanks in advance.
