  1. Thanks to this thread for helping me get some sf2s into my Logic. If anyone's still around, I have a question regarding note sustain. I've downloaded retro/SNES and gameboy samples. I can't get any of the pad, or violin sounds to sustain without it sounding like the note is just being hammered repeatedly. The a/s/d/R knobs do lengthen the release of some, but most samples flat out ignore the midi note length, which is where i'd like to manipulate it, so as not to have to constantly automate the release ( plus that technique doesn't sound good ). What can I do to use the pads like pads, and not like staccato key hits!? Thanks!
  2. Hey guys, Opened up Logic Pro X (10.3.1) today and saw that the beat ruler had been replaced by a time per second ruler. I went in to "view" and clicked show secondary ruler, which got back the one that i'm used to, but I still can't snap the playhead to that ruler. This new "primary" time based ruler is messing with my projects. Anyone know how to get rid of it/change it back to a beats/bars ruler?
  3. Heya, Fired up Pro X today only to find the ruler had changed on both the piano roll area, and the main window. Where it once displayed the beats/bars it now displays the time in seconds. I found how to add "secondary ruler", but the scrubber doesn't snap to those points, it snaps to the seconds which don't line up. Not sure why this has happened. Any ideas? Thanks guys
