  1. Hi guys, I'm wondering if there's a feature in Logic Pro that allows me to set parameters for quantization when importing audio. Nearly all of my external loops are in the 100-130 BPM range, but when I import audio using "Smart Tempo," the detection seems random, often resulting in 3/2, 3/3, with BPMs like 200, 180, etc. Is there a way to improve this? Thanks.
  2. Thank you for all the suggestions and attention to this. Regarding your question, that's exactly it. I want to use presets from Serum, for example, to modulate the Vocoder. As for the @oscwilde, indeed the EVOC can generate sounds like in the video, but considering the plethora of presets from Serum/Diva/any other synth, my possibilities for creating a unique Vocoder sound increase dramatically. Thank you for your attention. I will try out new steps.
  3. Ok, that works but it doesn't address the detail of me wanting to use synthesis with a virtual instrument in the mix. I don't want to use just a Vocoder plugin; instead, I want a Vocoder plugin that allows the use of a synth like Serum to then do the modulation.
  4. Hi everyone, I see many Ableton Live users creating Vocoder-type voices through a timbre coming from some virtual synth like Serum, Diva, Sylenth1, you name it. That is, the Vocoder modulation doesn't come directly from the "Vocoder" instrument, but rather from the selected timbre in a virtual synth. I need to do this in Logic. Is it possible? What's the best solution for this? Thank you very much.
  5. Hello everyone, I urgently need help with a detail that's leaving me confused and out of patience. Logic is constantly receiving a MIDI signal that's seriously disrupting my workflow, as if it's "auto-clicking" whenever this strange signal comes in. I've explored everything I can think of within Logic and on my Mac, but nothing's working. Does anyone know how to fix this, please? Thank you!
  6. That's unfortunate. I'll look for another solution. Maybe I saw something like this working in Ableton Live. Thanks for the help!
  7. Hi there, The situation is widespread, but I can exemplify it for you: With the Serum plugin, I can automate the Rate, for instance, making the notes repeat in a gradual and increasing way, a kind of "rise up/down". (Imagine a sequence of notes, each narrower than the other, becoming more separated as time goes by). I can achieve this effect through Rate automation, but the MIDI itself is just a single long MIDI note. What I want is to capture the Serum's "output" (the rise up/down, note by note), into a new MIDI channel. This way, I'll have a MIDI with all the notes drawn, instead of a single long MIDI note. I've attached an example that I did manually, by hand. Thank you!
  8. Hi community, I'd like to check if it's possible to record the output of a post-processed MIDI signal into a new Instrument channel. I know there's the option to "Record MIDI Here" in the same channel where the Instrument is inserted, but this requires some kind of "Midi FX", and that's not what I need. I want to automate a parameter in the Instrument, like the Rate for example, and then capture the generated MIDI signal in a new Instrument channel. Is this possible? It's like a bounce, but instead of audio, MIDI.
  9. Ok, that makes sense. But I still don't understand how I route the voice and synth to the Vocoder. Can you explain to me how I could route two signals (voice and synth) to the Vocoder?
  10. Hi guys, Do you have any suggestions on how I can do this in Logic Pro? How To Create Vocoder Effects Like Pleasure Kraft I know I can use Logic's Vocoder plugin or even external plugins like VocalSynth, but I still don't understand how I can use a synthesizer (like Serum) to control the waveform of the voice. If I don't apply a synthesis plugin, the voice is too "smooth", I need something rough, like the video effect. Thanks in advance.
  11. Hey guys, I've been testing some ways of repeating the notes with a free rate filter (in Hz, for example) and so far I haven't had any intelligent success. Today I'm doing this through the synthesizer I'm using or I bounce a note, add it in Alchemy and then I loop from "start to end", but this is very annoying. Example: In the video example it is possible to see that the dude repeats notes outside the Synthesizer, using a sequencer from Live. What do you guys suggest to do this in Logic? (Logic's Arpeggiator doesn't work. It only does this at fixed times (like 4/4, 4/2, etc)). Thanks.
  12. Well, thanks for the ideias guys. I'll try some things. Thank you!
  13. Hi guys, how's going? Is there way to use the Arpeggiator with no sync at 'rate' knob? Thanks.
  14. Any new support for OSC communication?
