  1. Yea not bad!! But b5 still trumps it for me. They really nailed the noisey side of it for me...
  2. Yea the UVI interface is clunky as f**k. But the hammond samples are amongst the best i've used, and they're notoriously difficult to sample. That said, i do have to play around with it a fair bit to get it sounding as realistic as it can....
  3. You have to enable flex on every single audio track (double check each has the correct algorithm) then select all the tempo events in the global editor at the top of screen, and drag up or down. Easy
  4. I use the UVI B5 and this does the exact same thing. True of many plugins that model this behaviour. And no, you have to have it switched on or off, when left on the noise will be active all the time as if the track is permantly in record enable. I tend to just bounce everything in place then just mute the instrument channel.... good habit to get into anyway!
  5. The third button on the left of your region is quick swipe comping mode. Hit it and it will turn to scissors, you can now edit within the comps as normal. Be sure to hit it again to return to comp mode.
  6. Export all tracks as audio will only render the audio tracks, and include plugin inserts (should you choose to include them). Complex routing will still require you to bounce.
  7. That's a great reference, I know the album, didn't think the reference it at the time! Thanks for all the comments everyone
  8. This is totally normal and just the format that logic employs. No bug here.
  9. Strange and nasty issue you're having there! I feel your frustration.... Do you always bounce with the cycle selection on? How much preroll do you allow? Which bar does your first region start on? Have you tried bouncing without your interface (which is?) just using the core audio drivers?
  10. If it's anything like the 24io I use, it normally has an activation setup. Are you using FireWire ?
  11. So to be clear, inputs 3&4 are greyed out and unselectable?
  12. Have you grouped all the channels and ticked the checkbox for selection & phase aligned audio? If not.. check it!! Though there is a bug in logic that just sometimes won't group the take folders properly and and it can end up in a mess....
  13. Recorded and mixed entirely in Logic Pro! https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/pop-voodoo/id1228633666 Love to know your thoughts people... Jack
  14. There you go!! And the channel meter is displaying input metering, not post fader.
  15. This is because of the low latency mode you use to record. The monitoring level and the actual recorded level are different. Presumably after recording this isn't an issue?
