  1. I managed to work out my own problem after some more internet searches (including previous Logic Pro Help Forum posts) and some trial and error. Here's what I did: First, I opened the Sound Library Manager: Then I installed the library that contained the patch I needed. (I know, I know. I thought this library was already installed -- maybe I had a legacy version of the Legacy library ...?) Just to be sure, I opened the EXS24 instance with the sample and clicked 'Options' and 'Preferences'. Then I clicked 'Search samples on' from 'Local volumes' (which is what I had it set to) to 'All volumes'. Whether this had any effect I don't know. At any rate, the patch loaded perfectly. I have my accordion back. Sharing in case the above helps anyone else searching for missing EXS patches.
  2. Hello, Has anyone experienced an issue where when they play back the EXS24 polka accordion patch (in the Legacy sounds), there is no output / no sound? I'm having this issue, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. The content is downloaded, and that patch used to work. Any help appreciated! Thanks.
  3. Hi guys, I'm new to this forum - posting-wise - but I've been a fan of Logic Pro Help for quite a few years. I thought I'd share a very new track that I enjoyed producing. Hope you like it. Thanks for listening. https://m.soundcloud.com/rohankaymusic/acceleration
  4. Great. No, it won't because you would have a true input - such as a microphone. Basically without a true input, you were funneling live sounds that you were making. If you turned on a channel to input 1 again and talked out loud you'd probably hear yourself talking (if you wore earphones or headphones). I've done this, too, and it freaked me out the first time! If you don't need to record something (or you have already finished your recording), just highlight all audio channels and switch to 'No input' - because you don't need your inputs anymore. Hope that helps.
  5. Are all channels no input, or just some? Must be all channels to work.
  6. Just checking: do you have an input active on your channels (e.g. 'Input 1')? (Go to mixer window to view.) If so, switch to 'No input'. Does that help?
