Hello, I resetted all the preferences and the box remained checked. But the controls didn't work. But I think there is a problem with the compatibility with my Roland. If I check the box I always get the next message: Please select MIDI CH1 on your Roland cakewalk a pro. I googled it and there was a hack to fix this by zipping and deleting files but I don't know if its ok tot do that... Thank you for your respond.

Hey guys. The automatic assignement of my roland a300 pro works great, however, everytime i open a new or existing project, i need to check the box of automatic assignment. it is always unchecked. How can i fix this? thank you
