  1. Thank you JakobP, I expanded the play mode but the speed parameter was greyed-out. I did find a solution to my issue though. I re-bounced my loops without tempo information. I opened a new Live Loops project and set the bpm and time signature to 7/8 manually. Then I imported my loops into cells, the first one worked properly, the next one didn't but when I set the original tempo to 131 in the cell inspector then it worked. I've got them all working now. Thanks LogicProHelp community!
  2. Hi David, since I'm importing my loop into a cell in a Live Loops project, I don't get the region inspector but rather the cell inspector which looks like this (there is no speed setting). I'm not sure I fully understand the loop length and cell length settings but I played with them to no avail.. loop still plays back 2x speed. If I set the project tempo to 65.5 the loop plays back normally.. but the project should be at 131 bpm.
  3. Hello, I've created some audio drum loops which are in 7/8 time, 2 bars each at 131 bpm. When I bounce them to a file (including tempo information) and then open a new Live Loops project, when I drag my first loop into a cell the project tempo is automatically set to 131 bpm.. perfect. But, when I play the loop it plays back double speed. The file in the project files window says 131 bpm, but if I click that tempo to edit it, it changes to 65.5 bpm. It's as if Logic thinks it's only 1 bar at 65.5 bpm rather than 2 bars at 131. How can I create my loops so that they have the correct bar/tempo information to work properly in a Live Loops project? Thank you!
  4. Back to Beat Mapping for me until this is refined more.
  5. More.. File tempo editor has insufficient options for time signature, like 6/4 and 9/4 aren't that uncommon really..
  6. This is something I do a lot in 10.3 so was really excited to have better tempo editing features in 10.4 but it's pretty janky so far, ie: In the file tempo editing screen, move a tempo marker and the whole tempo editing screen zooms back out.. ack! Move the playback head in the file tempo editing screen, the project playback head does not follow.. press play and it will play from the project playback head, ignoring where you just moved the playback head in the file tempo exiting area. Not clear how to disable intrusive tool tips. Needs work!
  7. Hello, I created a tempo map for a song and now I'd like to make some changes to it, including changing a point from 159.99997 bpm to 160. Haven't been able to figure out how. Thank you for any advice! Cheers, Ben J ps. The Big Picture here is to compare the song recorded without a click (the tempo fluctuates), to what it would sound like if the A section is at 160 consistently, the B section is at 150 consistently and so on. My tempo map shows that the sections average out to this, and I intend to create a new more consistent tempo map (in a separate project file) and flextime the audio to adhere to the more consistent tempos. Then compare the two versions. Any thoughts on this idea?
