I'm looking for the organ sound that sounds most like the organ previously used at Madison Square Garden. This NYT article contains audio samples of both the old and new organ. I actually prefer the old Hammond one. See and listen to the "Rangers old organ" sound sample in this article. Thank you for any help. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/03/sports/ray-castoldi-madison-square-garden-organ.html?_r=0
Thank you David. I subsequently came across a number of string ensemble sounds (staccato, legato, etc.) but these are good ways to refine further. Thanks again.
Logic beginner here although several years ago I took a class on it so sort of know my way around. I am using Logic Pro X on a Macbook Pro connected via MIDI to a Yamaha NU1 digital hybrid piano.
I am using the piano to play the strings ensemble Logic software instrument. I'd like to have a strings sound that gets less "mushy" when you play a sequence of notes. Something where the notes are a little more crisp and don't sustain as long. Any suggestions are appreciated on selecting a new instrument or editing the strings ensemble one to make it sound less "mushy" (I don't know what other word to use). Thanks!
