  1. Thanks so much! I think the problem may have been that I was trying to change the channel strip setting after the control had been assigned. Also, using the inspector to see what aux it was actually on was very useful! Thanks again for tying it all together for me. Now I can get back to some creating and be done with this technical nightmare of mapping for a while! It's funny because I think I have to relearn mapping with Logic every couple of years, and now that they have tried to simplify with smart controls, it seems like I am even more isolated for info when it come to mapping in the advanced window. Thank goodness for this forum! Cheers!
  2. Just tried a bunch of things and the only way i can get the control to move the parameter is if I am on selected track.
  3. If I change it to anything that is not what the parameter was assigned at I lose the control. So, Hypothetically I am trying to control a delay unit on a bus independently so I can change the delay time while I am playing another instrument on another channel. What would my settings look like in the assignment window?
  4. I cannot figure out how to have controls that are not based off of the selected track. I would like to have controls that are only exclusive to one channel and always active, regardless of selection. I have been a Logic user for going on 10 years and the controller mapping has always got me down. I am almost ready to move to another daw..
