  1. This happened to me with a USB interface - can you change your audio hardware for checking?
  2. There is a hardware problem with some Mac Minis. Or did you change something inside the machine? The cable that connects the hardware to the socket is quite flimsy and easy to remove by mistake when opening the machine.
  3. Assign different MIDI channels to each strings so for each note you can set the string
  4. A simple way to locate the samples is to type the name of a specific sound into the Mac search window - up comes a finder window that displays the exact path in the bottom line of the window
  5. From memory there were discussion here on the Logic forum where the general opinion was "it doesn't work". Thank you for your findings, I will try it out next time I need to do some video syncing. For what it's worth, the Ripple Training people explained more than a year ago how to do audio post in Logic from FCP X (they have a YouTube channel, you may search there for more info). I do remember they also stressed the importance of assigning roles to the audio tracks but I don't recall the steps to actually export the audio files into Logic. Thanks again!
  6. I found the Logic user manual quite detailed - it is an iBook documented and it's updated after each release. There you can find suggestions and explanations.
  7. Atlas007, could you elaborate on the "dummy audio track" thingy - I never heard of it and I'm keen to use it
  8. I have no solution but in order to find out what is causing the issue you may try out using shorter samples (just for trying). Then try out stereo / mono tracks. What about trying to set cycle to "on" and in and out markers just around the part you want to export. Sorry for you trouble...
  9. A number of video apps don't support High Sierra, I'm currently stuck with Sierra that's why I'm asking. But the specs of the new Mac Mini are so compelling to use with Logic that I'm in front of a choice.
  10. Hi there, I was wondering - the new Mac Mini doesn't really have any most recent hardware that would fatally require Mojave. Did anybody yet try to run the machine under Sierra or High Sierra? Thanks!
  11. The new Mac Mini supports eGPU via one of the Thunderbolt 3 connectors - there are already several manufacturers. For Logic the inbuilt new Intel graphic chip should be quite enough, according to the specs the new Mini supports up to 3 (three) 4k monitors.
  12. Actually I just re-verified the plugins and it passed. Problem solved. Thanks for your contributions!
  13. Hi there, I have a problem to run izotope vocalsynth 2 in Logic pro 10.4.2 under OS X Sierra. I have no problems with Logic 10.3 under OS X El Capitan, so I'm wondering what is the issue. The OS or the version of Logic? I'd be glad to hear experiences from others. Thanks! Jurgen
  14. A viable solution would be to create a patch in Reaktor where the filter frequency is controlled by the MIDI note #.
